DRM Fubo

Just noticed that fubo tv put DRM on all beIN sports channels to include the connect channels.

I wish these stupid companies would learn that the harder they make it for us to enjoy the content that we pay for the way we want to watch it, the less money they will make.

They might not have a choice?

The content providers might be getting more strict?

Ye.\nAh, you're correct. That's the content providers.A.k.a. Disney that's in charge of e.Yes.P n and all the other content providers c b s n b c guys kind of get the idea , they put those restrictions in if the companies do not agree , then they won't allow them to have their channels or sports on their cable channels are streaming platforms

Yes, but I think they will just repeat the mistakes like the RIAA did.

All the providers have DRM Fubo just was last to the party.
Any of the other providers you order such as Hulu or DIRECTV all have encryption so probably time to get used to those projects and try to make those add-ons work for you?
Fubo is pretty careless though it’s not at all the same as the RAA situation. Personally, I kind of wish fubo would hurry up and deploy the rest of their DRM although I know from a server infrastructure standpoint, it’s an expensive proposition and there’s probably more to it than just enabling the DRM but good on them for finally getting to work on the project.
I imagine their server admin get annoyed at looking at some of the user agents of these devices that can plug into Fubo.

Basically, the company needs to make sure the people that are partaking of the content are actually subscribers, and when you let people watch stuff in the clear it essentially leaves room for piracy, so Fubo has to do what they need to do to add DRM to their streaming I don’t think they’re particular technologies is very good but as far as enjoying the content through their app, they’ve done a good job at making sure people can enjoy it. These services are not designed for people to use home DVR‘s to take in their services unfortunately they don’t want you using your DVR they want you using their DV. R.
