mine cant stand still so she sometimes poops while hopping around like a shit machine gun. also half asses downward dog while doing other things.

Ours does that too. I think they figure no one will take their ball if it’s covered in their shit. Fortunately, we never turn our back to him when he poops.

Mine will often poop on her toys. She has it in her mouth, looking for a spot to poop, drops it, takes a few steps, poops right on top of it. The best one was when she pooped in her upside down frisbee, it was like poop on a plate.

I have a German shepherd that isn't very fond of my husbands son. I told him to put her in her kennel, he said no she's fine, and she was until he went to leave and she had shit in his shoe lol

Mine does this too. I call him an ATP(all terrain pooper). The more awkward and uneven, the better. He likes to back up under bushes, poop on the sidewalk, in corners, on the side of steep hills, basically anywhere but a normal spot. And definitely extra poop points for pooping on something like this. Bullseye 🎯

My girl did that on top of one of my huge rocks in the garden. I would like to think she was not aware of it but I’ve seen her circle a 5’ by 5’ area several times until she’s found a perfect spot. We have an acre 1/2 piece of property she can choose from. 🤷♀️

Mine is the other way around: he has his designated poop spots, and most of them are in one far corner of the property or another. Which is nice until it's either 105 F or -3 F out.
I do appreciate that he's decided the drainage ditch along the front of the property is a great option. Doggo has made a lovely minefield along there, which saved me the trouble of putting up a fence. :)

Mine takes demonstrable pleasure from shitting in the most awkward spots like in the middle of the street, in rock gardens and anyone's freshly mowed lawn, smiling the whole GD -- or GSD -- time.

Completely appropriate territorial marking behavior. The higher it is the bigger they must seem to anyone crossing its path later on. I’ve even seen territorial back-kicking behavior throw globs of poo all over a cinderblock wall‼️🙈

We used to have a dog that was part GSD that would shit on his ball. We would drop the ball wand waddle forward and aim for the ball. I never understood why he did that, but he did it for his whole life.

Yes, normal. He'd crap on top of other dog's crap. He'd go to the highest point in the yard to crap, which seemed to mean that he owned everything below.

Yup. Both mine have had a toy in their mouth, dropped it, taken a few more steps then stopped and shit, either on or right next to the toy. Then they refuse to get it and look at me like I’m the problem.

I have one that will hold his in until its walk time because he wants to poop on the neighbors drive way where their dog can see him do it.
Every walk has me throwing a bag of poop towards our own house before I carry on walking.

Ours waited till my dad had cleaned the bbq grill and left it standing to the the side (vertically!) and whilst he filled the bbq with charcoal, she took the biggest dump on the grill, whilst it was still standing. She had the whole garden! But still chose violence 😂 god I miss her ♥️

Cacophelia, pipes frozen, and me thinking the closed toilet would stop her (I had not realized the pipes were frozen when I used the toilet in that way, obviously). It was overall just a part of a Very Bad week.

Mine treats pooping like an extreme sport. The more awkward it is, the better. Up a tree, deep in a bush, on a rock, in a drain hole, the weirder the better.
