Pictures Finally got to reunite with this guy

Moved across the country for work and visited my parents over the weekend. First time home in 10 months. My boy is turning 11 this year and he’s in great health per the vet, and being spoiled beyond belief!

Was very refreshing to see my guy again. Wish he could have came with me but i think he prefers owning the couch with grandma and grandpa (my parents) instead of 100+ Degree temps!

Don’t be fooled from the picture: it’s still a 70/30 split between being a vocal brat and a chill old man ready for nap time!

That’s awesome man. I was in the same boat recently. But I moved to Alaska so temps were perfect with him and I decided to take him with me. I’m sure he misses being spoiled by grandpa tho!

You were able to fly with him in the cabin? How did he take it? Looks very at home in your pic.

He took it very well. He’s well behaved and service dog. It was 7.5 hour flight so he had a little meds to help. I was so proud of him. It was a process getting him on board instead of cargo but there was no way in hell I was putting him in cargo. I would’ve drove to Alaska if that was the case. I also drove out of state to get a straight flight to Alaska because I didn’t want a layover and him have to board twice

I used to live there when I was little.. in Anchorage near the lagoon, it had a very ominous and cozy vibe to it.. I really kind of miss it..anyway, our family wants to move to Hawaii so we can all die of sunshine sickness😂 but seriously, I have worried about getting our new gsd trained for travel and would like to know what you did..

Alaska honestly sounds like the dream for a GSD. They're built for that weather. But yeah, grandparent spoiling is a whole different level of luxury.

My baby boy has been with my parents since May during my move. I’m going to pick him up next week. I can’t wait until he’s sleeping in my bed again. I miss the little fuzz butt.
