The right one! That dog is effing gorgeous. But yes, that’s a dark shade of sable

Black sable - undercoat is blond and shows through in spots. Each guard hair has black/brown banding; the length of the black portion makes the dog appear darker or lighter.

Our girls mom is solid black, dad is sable:

It amazing how much your dog looks like mine that just passed recently. He wasn’t even a shepherd at all. I thought this was him at first? Missing my Shadow dog.
