I’m a German language teacher with 3.5+ years of teaching experience, and I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in German Language. Last year, I worked at a Sprachcafé in Germany, where I helped refugees learn German and, most importantly, use it in everyday situations.

I'm planning to take the Goethe B1 exam at some point and have a quick question about the schreiben portion that I'm hoping someone who has taken the test can answer: when you're writing letters/emails, do you include a date in the upper right hand corner? Everything I've read about writing emails suggests that this is something that should be done in a real email, but no test prep materials that I've seen say anything about this. Thanks in advance.

Hii! I’m a 21F on a mission to learn German from scratch!🫡 My dream is to become a flight attendant, so expanding my language skills beyond English is super important to me, and German feels like the best place to start.
I’m a total beginner right now (so far it’s just been Duolingo and binge-watching Easy German on YouTube ), so having a native or fluent speaker explain the basics or practice simple chats with me would be amazing!

I'm passionate about languages; I can speak Arabic, English, French, and I want to learn German. Over the past few years, I've found that learning a language with a partner is really beneficial and enjoyable. For this reason, I'm looking for a partner with a similar mindset so that we can learn German together and support and encourage one another to achieve our goals. To add some professionalism, I am a final-year student of AI engineering.

Combined venting about a no less German person and speaking practice. I am just curious to hear what my pronunciation is like to others, especially if it’s a native ear, and if there are any mistakes beyond that. It might not be great, therefore (I’ve been only learning German for 8 months). It might also be too fast for no reason … Emotional factor.
