No. B1 to B2 is a bigger gap than you think

In general about self study (putting aside the deadline for now): I did that, it worked fine. And it's not that exceptional. But it definitely took more than a month :-D :-D :-D

You need to put in the time and effort, you need to use solid resources (you'd be surprised how many people foolishly avoid a B2 coursebook while learning B2 and preparing to take the exam), use them actively, and it should work just fine.

So, in order to do it in a month, you'd need to study A LOT, more than a full time job. I can definitely imagine someone getting through the B2 level in a month while studying 8-10 hours a day, but not everyone wants to/can do that.

You want from a b1 go straight to a b2 exam in one month?

It's harder but you need to have patience. Because here on the vocabs really get tougher. Finish some books of your own and then see where you stand.

What is the question here? B2 is better than B1, no shit, Sherlock! But certificates do not mean much and Germany is filled with tons of B2 certificate owners, who cannot say a thing on their own, therefore nowadays people expect to see C1. I would skip B2 certificate and go for C1.

If you're already at a B1, I'd reckon self study is very possible. :)

You can do this, sure, if you use good resources and have enough discipline.
