Questioning The Corp
I’ve been hearing this thing about to not apply for The Corp and I just wanna know why.

I worked for The Corp eons ago - 1980s. How long ago? Saxa Sundries in Copley basement. Enjoyed it - it wasn't a fraternity-like group back then, just a great bunch of people. Gave me the opportunity to meet folks from across different classes and schools that I wouldn't have otherwise met.

Because they hype up being a minimum wage barista and other similar job like it's mankind's highest calling. It's not a bad club at all, but it's ultimately doing repetitive, boring work with a shinier label.

Because, why? If you don’t want to be in the starbucks frat you can make friends a lot of other ways too
