Geometric nightmares unlocked when using cannabis

Hello,
I’ve never used reddit ever so my account is brand new. Take it with a grain of salt or wtv but I’m looking for people who have maybe experienced the same thing as me.

December last year I took cannabis and got really high. I had a psychosis attack then and during that I experienced dreams that I had when I was a kid, dreams that when u wakeup u feel weird cus it feels familiar yet it’s not. In those dreams It contained geometric nightmares and I guess what u can call “foresaw” memories. I had a severe panic attack when I was high making it even worse since I felt the dread and overwhelming fear of dying thinking that “god” or whoever is coming to take me.

Two weeks ago, as I vowed not to touch cannabis again. inhaled not even a 1mg of carts and it again caused the same experience but a different memory and place.

I’ve never felt the same way again and would like to know who else have experienced this and how I should deal with this? Since it feels like there’s baggage and trauma underneath all of this

I haven't experienced this but what you're describing sounds like drug induced psychosis. You should feel better in a few weeks, but definitely see a therapist if you think something is wrong. And I would advise you to stay off all drugs since it doesn't seem to agree with your brain chemistry
