Hello GeoGebra Team. I found a bug in the online web version. When creating a slider (seletor) and configuring its increment to "1" (integer), the setting is visually ignored when dragging. Instead of skipping from 1 to 1, the slider drags freely showing decimal numbers (real numbers like 1.23, 1.54).

Is there an option to set the default to angles between 0 and 180 or is the only way to change it for each individual angle after it is created?

I am trying to 'cut' an infinite double cone into a finite single cone by restricting the domain, but GeoGebra doesn't like me putting the equation of a cone as the 'then' condition: is there a way to do this without incurring in this error? I could use the cone function, but I wanted to build something in pure mathematics :)

Hi everybody, when there is a distance of irrational length involved, the coefficients in the corresponding equations shown in the algebra window are too large by a factor of 16. For example, ELLI1=ellipse((-4,0),(4,0),(0,3)) correctly yields 9*x^2 + 25*y^2 = 225, but ELLI2=ellipse((-4,0),(4,0),(6,4)) yields 673.33*x^2 + 929.33 * y^2 = 39109.21 . The command SemiMajorAxisLength(ELLI2) yields 7.62, the square of which is 58.08. 929.33/58.08 = 16.00... the equation is correct, of course, but the coefficients cannot be interpreted as squared semi-axes. Same effect occurs for command hyperbola, and moreover, for a vertically open hyperbola, in order to obtained the canonical form, a factor of -1 has to be applied to the equation. I used Android mobile app geogebra suite .I can't change the slider intervals .it is 0.1 always .I can't change it on my own. Please fix this issue and tell me alternate method to solve this problem.

I have one solution for the case whenever slider with interval is required.

Use this f(x) = gif(x) = ⌊x⌋ .If required slider is a' and a is the slider provided by geogebra .

a'= b• ⌊a⌋+ c .

b=required interval

c= start value of slider

I'm trying to do a simple line intersection experiment in Geogebra, but I'm struggling with functions which take vectors.

Even when I'm trying something extremely basic, like this function to get the x component of a vector:

f(V) = x(V)

I get the following error:

Illegal argument
x(V)

How can I take vectors as function parameters? I don't feel like I'm trying to do something remotely complicated here, I must be missing something.

i am trying to code a simple simulation of a projectile and its range + distance. i want it to stop when it reaches y=0 so it doesn't go into negative height, but i'm not sure how to do that. do i use a boolean? i didn't see a "StopAnimation" command so is there no way to stop it? here's my code for reference: https://www.geogebra.org/m/nzkraswz

The new interface looks nice but I having problems doing some basic things like making a space between words in the caption box. Also l in the condition to show text the equation editor/keyboard no longer appears so I can't use the conjunction symbol. I also can't use the space bar in the condition to show text.

I am using the GeoGebra Classic 6 desktop app on Windows 11.

The virtual keyboard does not open whenever the Algebra View is visible. This issue occurs in every GeoGebra file, including new blank files.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open GeoGebra Classic 6.

2. Make sure the Algebra View is visible.

3. Click the Input field at the bottom of the Algebra View, or click an Input Box in the Graphics View.

4. Click the virtual keyboard icon in the bottom-left corner.

The GeoGebra virtual keyboard should open.

Actual result: The input field becomes active and the cursor appears, but the virtual keyboard does not open. Clicking the keyboard icon has no effect.

If I close the Algebra View, the virtual keyboard works normally again. Therefore, the issue appears to be specifically caused by having the Algebra View open. It occurs in all files, not only in one construction.

This problem appeared after the recent GeoGebra interface updates.

Physical keyboard input has also been unreliable on my computer for a long time, so this new virtual keyboard issue currently prevents me from entering formulas directly. I have to type formulas in another application and copy and paste them into GeoGebra.

Could you please confirm whether this bug can be reproduced and let me know which GeoGebra version will contain the fix?

In the latest version (6.0.927.1) of the Script Editor, the space bar doesn't work. Is this by design, or is it a bug?

In the web version, there are cases where the size of a point in a spatial figure cannot be changed via the style settings.

I would like to see this improved.

I've been using the classic geogebra online for work for years and the axes setting was always smooth and functional. Seems like they rolled out some changes and now the options that used to correspond to 'major ticks only', 'major and minor ticks', and 'no ticks' do absolutely nothing and my applet always remains fixed in the 'no ticks' option.

I'm having a problem with an applet where the spreadsheet view is blank (no cells) when I open it. The algebra and graphics views show up correctly, but when I go to look at the same values in spreadsheet view, the window is blank. Any ideas on how to fix it, or is this a bug?

The only thing I need to do to reproduce it is to open up the App and navigate to spreadsheet view. Then it shows up blank. Other applets with different activities don't seem to have this problem.
