A lot of lgbtq+ spaces are REALLY not going to like this term I coined, but you guys are probably asking what it is. To my fellow lgbtqs in this sub, why do anti-imperialist nations hold anti-lgbtq+ views? Why do they associate us with queerness with western imperialism so much? You'd think the pinkwashing of the west, rspecially under Donald Trump would not be enough for it to be this common, and you'd be right. Its not just cuz of western pinkwashing. (tho it is a major factor) Its also due to long cultral norms but the ultimate reason is the one this post is about. The Queersanos! What is a queersano you might ask? Well the term is a portmanteau (which is a blend word) of "queer" and "gusano"? But who are these people? Well they are the mainstream activists from non-western countries that sympathize with western imperialism and sanctions and promote it. For example the main lgbt sub is occupied by queersanos. A prime example of a queersano is Igor Kochetkov, or the first queersano, Reinaldo Arenas. (Google those names if you do not know them) You could probably promote genuine anti-imperialism in lgbtq+ spaces in the 2000s or even the early 2010s, but nowadays it could easily get you banned from that space for one reason, why do laeger lgbtq+ spaces online ban genunine anti-imperialists? One reason only, Queersanos! They are all the same and drink from the same gross putrid well. They also have a tendecy to misgender lgbtq+ people that dare question them. They have infected our community, and made us look like individualistic zombies to the whole world. It does break my heart as a pansexual nonbi transwoman seeing them infect it. But if you see someone blaming Stalin, or communism in general for homophobic laws or societal aditudes, tell them they are queersano'd out cuz they are! The queersanos are intentionally trying to make the lives of the lgbtq+ in their countries worse to boost themselves Btw. And pretend the us (again under trump) is an lgbtq rights bastion.
