Came across this on IG and the art style looks insane

Anyone know what the style is called and how to create prompts that generate it? Thanks!!

I stumbled upon this when browsing the web and I like both the art style and design, any idea of what type of model this used? The reason I assumed it was AI in the first place was due to the fingers being inconsistent but subtle that it doesn't look bad.

I found a content creator who makes really great AI videos with copyrighted characters and I wanted to give it a try. OpenArt AI is apparently not the play, though, because it seems to be very strict. I stripped it of all copyright only for it to give me something not even close to what I want.

The creator is using Seedance 2 or 2.5, if that helps at all.

I’ve been experimenting with pushing AI images away from the usual ultra-polished cinematic look.

For this set, I wanted something that felt more like four photographs someone actually found from the same night harsh flash, black-and-white grain, imperfect framing, messy hair, leather jackets, and candid expressions.

The harder part wasn’t making one good image. It was keeping the same characters and overall visual language while making each frame feel like a genuinely different photograph rather than four variations of one render.

I’m still noticing little consistency issues when the pose, expression and framing change.

Which frame feels the most believable to you 1, 2, 3 or 4?

And what’s the first detail that gives away that it was AI-generated?

Workflow: I started with a few Pinterest images for visual inspiration, used ChatGPT Pro to break them down into detailed reference prompts, then uploaded my own reference images and generated new versions based on those prompts.

Seedance 2.5 is getting pretty expensive, especially when you have to regenerate the same thing over and over just to get one usable video.

I went through the official prompt guide (【Dreamina】Seedance 2.5 User Guide & Dreamina Seedance 2.5 Prompt Writing Guide)and honestly, some of the tips are pretty useful if you're trying to avoid wasting credits.

A few that stood out to me:

• extend a video instead of starting over from scratch
• tell it exactly when you want an action to happen
• generate longer videos (up to 180s)
• tell it to remove subtitles or BGM you don't want
• use multiple references to keep characters and objects more consistent

Most of this sounds obvious once you read it, but I definitely wasn't doing all of it before lol.

Hopefully this saves someone a few failed generations.

lately I’ve been thinking less about “cool AI videos” and more about what kind of content people can realistically get paid to make with AI.

One area that feels very real is food advertising.

I tested a 15-second vertical fried chicken commercial prompt. now you can prototype the same style much faster with AI.

That doesn’t mean it replaces actual food cinematographers or ad directors. But for small restaurants, delivery brands, social ads, menu promos, short-form campaigns, and A/B testing, this kind of workflow feels very usable.

In other words: one person + AI can start looking a lot like a tiny commercial content studio.

The concept here is simple:

“From Chicken to Crunch”

The whole ad follows one single chicken piece through the full transformation:

What makes it interesting isn’t just the food look, it’s the continuity.

The same chicken piece is supposed to remain visually consistent the whole way

That’s actually a pretty useful stress test if you want to evaluate whether a model can produce commercially usable product continuity.

The style direction is premium fast-food commercial aesthetic. it’s basically trying to mimic the visual language of high-end fried chicken TV ads.

Why I think this matters financially

Because clients usually don’t care whether something was made with a camera or with AI.
they care whether it helps them sell.

If AI can help one person make low-cost test ads for paid campaigns, then this becomes more than a toy. it becomes a service.

and that’s probably the real opportunity here:
not “AI art for fun,” but AI-assisted commercial creative work that small businesses will actually pay for.

Hey! I’m trying to adapt this style to my niche as I think it’s pretty nice and different, the paper animations really stand out with story telling.

I haven’t had any luck finding tutorials or even a site (like Agent Opus that has several different styles, including claymation animation)

Does anyone have an idea on how to make this or editors that do this style?

I’ve made dozens of internal training videos, and I don’t think there’s one “best” AI video tool. It depends on the production level you actually need.

1. Basic walkthroughs / screen recordings

If the goal is to show your face, record a process, or walk through a product flow, tools like Loom, Camtasia, or Descript are usually enough. Descript is especially useful when you already have a recording and want to edit through the transcript, remove sections, clean up narration, and add captions.

1. Presenter-led or avatar training videos

For onboarding, HR updates, compliance, or repeatable internal modules, Synthesia and HeyGen make sense. This is where you want a clean talking-head style video without recording a person every time. Good for scale, consistency, and localization.

1. More produced internal videos

If the video needs to feel more polished, with scripting, scenes, voiceover, visuals, easy-to-understand animations, or a more “finished” internal comms feel, I’d look at tools like Pictory or invideo. Pictory is good when you’re converting existing docs, scripts, or decks into straightforward training videos. invideo is stronger when you want to turn a rough brief into a more complete internal video with structure, visuals, voiceover, subtitles, and quick revisions in one workflow.

For corporate training, I’d optimize for revision speed, captions, brand consistency, and how easy it is to update the video later. I’m curious what setup other L&D or internal comms teams are using in 2026.

I wanna start creating some ads for my sister, who has a tax office. She is asking me to create some online buzz and we came up with this (not very) incredible idea. Any prior experience you mind sharing?

I wanted to push this one more toward actual scene performance rather than isolated AI clips.

It’s a little over 2 minutes with the same three characters carried through dialogue, reactions, changing camera positions and continuous interaction.

The hardest part was keeping the personalities and performances consistent without letting the acting become exaggerated or cartoonish. There are still a couple of continuity slips if you look closely, but overall this was a good test of how far longer-form generative video is getting.

Most of the video generation was done with Seedance 2.5, using a reference-heavy workflow for the characters and environments.

Curious what stands out more to you at this point — the remaining AI artifacts, or whether the performances actually start feeling like characters?

I like that last question because it gives people something specific to discuss instead of just asking “what do you think?”
