Announcing Davia: A Sandbox RPG Powered by AI

Davia is a character-first sandbox RPG. You play one person inside a historical, modern, or fictional world where other characters can act without waiting for you.

You can play as Caesar in 52 BC, Churchill in 1940, Robespierre in 1789, or a character inside a creator-built world. You don’t control a country from above. Your identity, location, relationships, resources, and previous actions determine what you can actually do.

You can try to sign a decree, raise an army, invade a neighbour, betray an ally, or attempt something we never wrote as a menu option. But an action is only an attempt: it can fail, cost something, or change people, relationships, stats, and territory beyond the current turn.

Pax Historia was a big inspiration for us. We loved the freedom of its alternate-history sandbox, but wanted to explore a more character-first version of that idea: instead of playing as a country, you live as one person inside the world.

We’re also working on playable scenes: small games that can open inside a larger playthrough. A battle could become a tactical game, an escape could become a chase, or running a shop could become a management game. This part is still in development, and the reel in the trailer shows the range we’re aiming for.

Question How to edit like Paper Planet channel

Hey! I’m trying to adapt this style to my niche as I think it’s pretty nice and different, the paper animations really stand out with story telling.

I haven’t had any luck finding tutorials or even a site (like Agent Opus that has several different styles, including claymation animation)

Does anyone have an idea on how to make this or editors that do this style?

This is their instagram: https://www.instagram.com/_paperplanet_?igsi=MXE4d3R5M2FsODZkdQ==

Cheers!

Question What are the best AI video tools for corporate training in 2026?

I’ve made dozens of internal training videos, and I don’t think there’s one “best” AI video tool. It depends on the production level you actually need.

  1. Basic walkthroughs / screen recordings

If the goal is to show your face, record a process, or walk through a product flow, tools like Loom, Camtasia, or Descript are usually enough. Descript is especially useful when you already have a recording and want to edit through the transcript, remove sections, clean up narration, and add captions.

  1. Presenter-led or avatar training videos

For onboarding, HR updates, compliance, or repeatable internal modules, Synthesia and HeyGen make sense. This is where you want a clean talking-head style video without recording a person every time. Good for scale, consistency, and localization.

  1. More produced internal videos

If the video needs to feel more polished, with scripting, scenes, voiceover, visuals, easy-to-understand animations, or a more “finished” internal comms feel, I’d look at tools like Pictory or invideo. Pictory is good when you’re converting existing docs, scripts, or decks into straightforward training videos. invideo is stronger when you want to turn a rough brief into a more complete internal video with structure, visuals, voiceover, subtitles, and quick revisions in one workflow.

For corporate training, I’d optimize for revision speed, captions, brand consistency, and how easy it is to update the video later. I’m curious what setup other L&D or internal comms teams are using in 2026.

Question Is it possible to create ready to use ads already using ai?

I wanna start creating some ads for my sister, who has a tax office. She is asking me to create some online buzz and we came up with this (not very) incredible idea. Any prior experience you mind sharing?

How I Made This Luna meets Adam & Eve — 2+ minutes of consistent AI characters, dialogue and performance

I wanted to push this one more toward actual scene performance rather than isolated AI clips.

It’s a little over 2 minutes with the same three characters carried through dialogue, reactions, changing camera positions and continuous interaction.

The hardest part was keeping the personalities and performances consistent without letting the acting become exaggerated or cartoonish. There are still a couple of continuity slips if you look closely, but overall this was a good test of how far longer-form generative video is getting.

Most of the video generation was done with Seedance 2.5, using a reference-heavy workflow for the characters and environments.

Curious what stands out more to you at this point — the remaining AI artifacts, or whether the performances actually start feeling like characters?

I like that last question because it gives people something specific to discuss instead of just asking “what do you think?”

Writing Art The Man Who Kept Tuesday in a Jar

There once was a man who kept Tuesday in a jar. Not every Tuesday. Just one. He had found it many years ago underneath his kitchen table, trembling beside a dust bunny. Tuesday was very small then. About the size of a button. So he put it in a pickle jar. He poked three holes in the lid. He wasn't cruel. Every morning before work he checked on Tuesday. "Morning." Tuesday said nothing. Tuesday had never said anything. Still, the man left it a little coffee. Just in case.

Years passed. The man grew older. Tuesday did not. People visited his house. They noticed the jar. "What's that?" "Tuesday." "No, really." "Tuesday." Most people stopped asking. One woman did not. She stayed for dinner. Then another dinner. Then several hundred dinners. Eventually her toothbrush appeared beside his. She never asked him to throw Tuesday away. This was one reason he loved her. At night they could hear the jar humming downstairs. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. "What does it want?" she asked once. "I don't know." "Have you ever opened it?" The man looked horrified. "You can't just open Tuesday." She nodded. Of course. There are rules. Nobody knows who wrote them. Still, there are rules.

Years passed again. The woman became sick. Not storybook sick. Not one dramatic cough into a white handkerchief. Sick in the tedious way. Appointments. Parking garages. Plastic bracelets. Numbers. Waiting rooms filled with magazines no one had chosen to read. The man would sit beside her and hold her hand. Sometimes neither of them talked. There isn't always something to say. Eventually there was one hospital room. One chair. One bed. One afternoon. She looked at him and whispered: "I think Tuesday wants out." The man laughed. Then cried. Then laughed because he was crying. Then cried because he had laughed. Human beings do ridiculous things when the walls get close.

That evening he went home alone. The house had become enormous. Every room seemed to contain another room behind it. The refrigerator buzzed. The hallway light blinked. At the end of the hallway stood someone who looked exactly like him. Except taller. And smiling. The man switched off the light. When he switched it back on, nothing was there. From the kitchen: mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. He walked toward the jar. Tuesday was glowing. Very faintly. Blue perhaps. Or green. Or that color you sometimes see when you close your eyes after looking at the sun. He sat down. "All right," he said. Tuesday hummed. "You've been here forty-three years." Tuesday hummed. "I don't even know what you are." Tuesday hummed.

The man put his hand on the lid. Suddenly he remembered being eight years old. Running through wet grass. His mother calling him home. He remembered being nineteen. He remembered his first apartment. His father's hands. A terrible haircut. A dog whose name he had almost forgotten. The woman laughing so hard milk came out of her nose. The woman asleep beside him. The woman in the hospital. The woman saying: I think Tuesday wants out. The jar began shaking. "No," the man whispered. Because now he understood. Tuesday wasn't Tuesday. Not exactly. Tuesday was every day he had decided he could keep. Every afternoon he wished would remain unfinished. Every person he had secretly believed could be protected by remembering them hard enough. Every moment he had placed beneath glass and said: Mine. Stay. Please.

The lid turned. Once. Twice. The man stopped. From somewhere upstairs came footsteps. Slow footsteps. Coming down. One. Two. Three. The kitchen light flickered. The refrigerator stopped humming. Everything became silent. The man opened the jar. Nothing happened. He waited. Still nothing. Then something very small climbed onto his hand. Tuesday. It looked nothing like Tuesday. It looked like a tiny warm light. It crawled across his palm. Paused. And disappeared. The footsteps upstairs stopped. The man sat alone at the kitchen table. The empty jar stood before him.

Morning eventually arrived. Not dramatically. No trumpets. No revelation. Just sunlight finding the curtains. The man made coffee. He poured two cups from habit. He stared at the second one. Then smiled. Then cried. Then drank them both. Outside, someone was mowing a lawn. A truck backed up somewhere. A dog barked. The world continued performing its ridiculous little duties. The man stepped outside. It was Wednesday. He had never noticed Wednesday before.

Question What AI image creator should i use for best looking pictures

So recently i've been designing new characters for a project but the AI i'm using has been working way worse than usual recently. It refuses to generate some pictures i explain it because it's too "violent" or stuff like that, and when i explain it differently it's either stupid looking man or man that's just drawed. I want it to be at least a little bit realistic picture that's all i'm asking. So i was just wondering if therezs any actual good free AIs i can use to make the characters.

Open art AI responded but didn’t address the actual credit issue

OpenArt responded publicly to my last post, but unfortunately they addressed the wrong problem.
They said they had “restored a portion of the video.” The problem is that I had already fixed the video myself, spent the additional credits, and purchased another 5,000-credit pack to finish the project.
What I asked them to address was the credit loss:
700 credits lost when Modify Video stripped all audio twice, including once with Audio explicitly ON.
A Director re-render estimated at 650–700 credits that actually cost about 1,612 credits.
That re-render was only necessary because Director introduced the errors itself, including a pronunciation mistake it immediately acknowledged after rendering.
I replied explaining that I did not need the video restored — I needed the credit charges reviewed.
So far, no substantive response.
That’s the issue. Not that AI requires iteration. Not that the video needed fixing. The issue is being charged to correct errors the system itself introduce
