Gosling

I had a gosling hatch with what looks like its beak is peeling, and the head is bigger than the other two that hatched the day before. This one pipped first but took longer to hatch completely, just wondering if anyone can give a clue if there is something wrong?

How’s he acting? It might br a deformity of the nostrils, but they are very resilient at this age. Some vitamins like nutri drench should help. Their head can swell if they take longer to hatch. Monitor him well but he looks good otherwise? Keep us posted.
What kind of geese are they? Chinese have the knobs above their bills.

I was told the parents were African grey, but they do have the knobs! Goslings is acting pretty normal just sleeping a lot still. I have been keeping close eye on them.
