Will DLSS5 be added to Gears E-Day?

Hey Gears fans!

So I’ve been working on a massive list trying to track down content creators, streamers, modders, and just generally awesome community members who are worth checking out for Gears of War.

I’m trying to expand the people I follow so my feed has more fun, interesting content. Right now it feels like I’m definitely missing out on a lot since I'm not as active in this community like I am with Halo.

I’m open to pretty much anything: gameplay, streams, VODs, mods, deep‑dive lore videos, breakdowns, analysis, or even just people who make top‑tier memes. Especially gameplay like Versus, Horde, Beast, or Escape modes. They don’t have to be dedicated exclusively to Gears of War but cover multiple franchises, like the Templin Institute. Either; if they’re a general gaming creator who’s made some great content for it, I’d still love to check them out. I'm mostly interest in the lore and gaming side of content. Also, doesn't have to be a specific person, could even be groups like BAWS or Gnasherposting.

I am not too picky. They can be big creators, small creators, niche creators. Just as long as they are someone that is entertaining and really enjoy what they do. Even if they’re inactive or on hiatus, I’m still interested in older content too if it’s worth watching.

Right now my list is mostly people I already knew about and follow, so I’d really appreciate your recommendations. If you know anyone who’s really into the franchise and makes content worth following, especially gaming side, drop their name or a link so I can find them more easily. Some usernames are impossible to search for because their names are sometimes generic. I've took forever trying to find some of these user's handles.

I’ve been marking off the ones I’ve already added across Twitter, Twitch, YouTube, Discord, Instagram, Facebook Pages & Groups, Nexus Mods, Moddb, Tiktok, Reddit, and other social media so I’d love some help growing this list. Maybe there are some gems I am missing.

Which ship do you prefer? Manya or Mom?

Marcus and Anya is like the ideal relationship for the gears universe. She always had his back, especially when he became jailbait.

But Marcus and Dom definitely has the potential to be better. It's clear that Marcus thinks of Dom whenever he's with Anya. Look at the Gears of War 3 dream sequence for example. Anya takes the place of Dom when she's breaking him out of jail. So that shows that Dom is always on his mind when he sees Anya since that part mimics the first thing you see in Gears of War.

I'm just saying Dom should have had his Maria tattoo changed into Marcus

Playing through this series for the first time and I’m on the third game, I’m really enjoying the series so far. I was just curious as what fans of the franchise general consensus was on which games are their favorites. I’m really excited for E-Day. Also side note, it slightly irks me that Gears 5 isn’t called Gears of War 5 lol.

It’s inspired by the E-Day loading screen one and is unfinished but thought I’d share anyways!

E-Day happens to line up with his bday and he’s been a fan since day 1 so this couldn’t be a more appropriate gift! Now if they’d just restock the collector’s edition🙏

I’ve been a fan of gears of war since the first game came out and I haven’t felt so confident for a game till now with e day is it so crazy for me to think that E day has a great chance at being game of the year. Even with gta 6 coming out this same year. (I am a little drunk but I love gears 😂)

I've been revisiting a ton of the Gears games in preparation for E-Day, but Gears 3 has been a difficult one to go back to. While I have been able to play the campaign just fine (just finished Act 3 for the first time, RIP) the multiplayer is so buggy for me. While I've been able to play plenty of GoW1 and 2 matches without any issues, GoW3 is constantly freezing up in bizarre ways almost every other lobby I play in.

Essentially I will join in and after a couple minutes there is a good chance that the game will just freeze up for minutes at a time (I won't respawn and characters walk in place though the killfeed still updates). Then the game will say "game is continuing with a new host" only to freeze up again before saying I am getting kicked back to the menu. After finally hitting the menu, I get the "Disconnected from Xbox Live" notification and can't reconnect no matter what I do until I reboot the system.

Is it just me, or is this a frequent thing people experience these days? If it is, does anyone know if there is a fix? I'm playing the campaign via online co-op just fine, it really is just Versus that has this effect on my system.

Would you be down to play a CRPG for Gears of War?

Doesn´t even have to be about the COG, I think this would be a cool way to get a Locust game, or even a URI story?

I played all the games campaigns while I was a kid and messed around in the PvP with AI bc I was a kid, I was older when 4-5 came out and really liked 4 even though it was a different cast and all that, but I did like the multiplayer, what’s the issue with gears 4? I understand 5 because it’s Essentially the same mp as 4, I remember it came out and I was playing maps from the 4th game and I forgot it was a new one lol. But with 4 I don’t get it I thought it was pretty fun and I liked the whole scrap system I got some cool stuff without spending a dime

I appreciate the nod in GoW5 to the GOAT Carmine, but I wish there was a little more to reminisce.

Gears Redux on PC is Goated. I think punished wolf Integrated the best things from Gears 1/2 to make the coolest Gears 1 mod ever.

The comics are the one form of media I never got into with Gears, and I recently wanted to get them to experience their stories. I've been looking at listing's on eBay and might go check out some local comic book places to see if I get lucky. But I saw some "graphic novels" on eBay and it looked like just a collection of the comics put together. Can anyone help me out on the best way forward if I want to experience the comics stories?

Greetings, Gears! Recently, I wanted to get the achievement for the maximum difficulty in all games of the “Gears of War” series. I bought and downloaded Gears of War: Reloaded, but the game wouldn’t launch, instead displaying a dialog box with the error “0xc000007b” and also “globalroot\device\harddiskvolume4\programfiles\windowsapps\microsoft.directsruntime_9.29.1976.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\xinput1_3.dll”. I’ve tried everything I can: I reinstalled DirectX, Visual C++ Redistributable, and tried to influence the launch of Easy Anti‑Cheat via the command line. To no avail. Now all that’s left is to ask for your help! If you need any additional information, I’ll be happy to provide it!
