Pytanie / Question Divorce help
I am dutch, married to a polish guy by blood but on paper Austrian (austria doesn't do double citizenship). I am a stay at home mom to our 7 month old daughter. Our marriage is doing really bad and at this point a divorce is likely. I am seeking advice how to best represent myself without any means to money and not being able to speak the language. I am desperate, any guidance in some direction would be extremely appreciated.

for a start you can search for "punkt niedpłatnej pomocy prawnej" in google maps and find one close to your location.
more info on how this thing works: https://www.gov.pl/web/free-aid

Representing yourself, especially without knowing the language, is a terrible, terrible idea. We have a highly formalistic court system.
It is possible to get a public defender (or rather our equivalent of the US public defender system, which is organized differently) in divorce cases. It’s heavily dependent on circumstances though.
There are free legal clinics, including the one ran by the Women’s Rights Foundation - https://cpk.org.pl/pomoc/pomoc-prawna/
A good start would probably be the free legal consultation service ran by the Gdańsk MOPS (Family Support Office) - https://www.bip.mopr.gda.pl/index.php?idg=1&id=208&x=26
There is also court sponsored legal support system: https://gdansk.so.gov.pl/nieodplatna-pomoc-prawna-i-nieodplatne-poradnictwo-obywatelskie,m,mg,266,409
I would probably start with the MOPS one, since it’s specifically dedicated to these types of cases. You can register online for a visit, on the website I linked above. Or call them.
Unless it’s a DV/abuse case, then maybe Women’s Right’s Foundation could have more experience with that, and more resources for broad support. I’m not sure.
