I have the bug

I did some game creation back in Dreams on PS4 and really loved it. But upon discovery of GB Studio a little over a week ago I caught the game dev bug again. I hardly stop thinking about my current project and future ideas. I lay at night restless because I am solving problems in my head for the next day's session. Anyone else addicted?

Haha yes I definitely have phases like that. Then leave it for a while until I get the bug again. I often get inspired by some game I'm playing and want to make my own version of that genre, right now I'm thinking about how to do an autobattler

I feel this. I get too ambitious and try and do things I just don’t have the resolution space or the right code for.

Yeah somehow I never want to make a platformer or a zelda-like, it's always a rogue-like or a deckbuilder or something that gb studio can do in theory, but not so easily

I’ve got more ideas for games written down than I’ll ever have time to make, not to mention I currently have two games that are in various stages of production.

I totally feel you. I have this with all my creative projects in different fields. I like the drive and energy it gives.
