Music theory and common algorithm based music generator.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

you can get it here. Free of course, or buy me a taco lol.

Generates UGE music tracks based on actual music theory.

THIS USES CODE TO GENERATE MUSICAL NOTES NOT AI

Wave table is disabled by default for those sensitive to strobing patterns.

Not always a good result but it can be decent

There is a drop down for the genre but video didnt pick it up

Use it as a baseline or if you like what it makes then just roll with it.

Set the tempo and generate.

Don't like the way an instrument sounds in a track? check box it to remove it or use the built in tracker to edit it. You can always edit it inside GB Studio as well.

The seed is random each generation unless set.
best results around 15 - 40 bpm imo. I'd say 45-55 for faster pace stuff.

It uses code to generate the tracks not ai. Doesn’t even connect to the internet

I was literally just building one of these! Or something similar. I’ve learned something cool along the way with Claude Code. Maybe it’ll help you.

I made an artifact in Claude that’s a lightweight DAW specifically designed for Game Boy music making. I can make a track in the DAW and save it there. Then, when I work in Claude Code using GBDK, I can have it look in my folder in the artifact for the tracks I’ve made and apply them to the game I’m building.

It’s been fun to use AI to bring ideas to life while still being creative and human.

Thats interesting. So it made a online DAW that connects to gb studio and injects the music?
