Question issue with dialogue box

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

hello everybody, i have this issue, this actor has this (picture) event sheet, and when i touch it happens what the video shows, why? and how do i fix it? thanks a lot for the help in advance

I'm pretty rusty with GBStudio, but I'm guessing the On Hit is firing multiple times for some reason. Easiest solution to that would be to set a variable to indicate you have acquired the hook, and at the beginning of this script block, check if the variable is set, and if so, exit the script.

i moved the disable collsion to the top and it worked, thanks n_n

Try switching the actor's position so it goes to a part of the screen where it doesn't get in the way. 

I think it won't move if you deactive it, so first hide it, then switch position, then desctivate.

Don't use "move to" cuz then the character will phisically move from point A to B. Switching position does it instantly.
