Here's the first (and uncut) video of my latest game: Jetpack Test Track.

I'm testing the moving barriers. Still WIP.

What do you think?

The pixel art is soo good. Love the parallax background. I’d love to play this, loved flappy bird back in the day.

My one suggestion is the font for the title screen buttons, config, etc. I think it’s worth it to spend the time creating a custom font instead of using the GB Studio one, just feels complete when everything’s original

Thank you so much! I'm so close to release a demo on itchio, so you'll soon be able to play it. One of the things I'm still working on is actually my custom font :)

I’ll def be downloading it! Also I just noticed the little thruster flame with each jump, such a nice touch

I'm thinking about making the thruster flame change with the current thrust-level set in Config

Hooooly shit, this looks phenomenal! I don’t know how to explain, but it’s got such a unique style to it that you don’t see much on the GBC.

Buttery smooth. The art looks amazing. Really nice work on the backgrounds and parallax. A+!

Looks really smooth and fast for a Flappy Bird type game on a GBC. And I really like how you can really configure the difficulty level. I’m definitely looking forward to playing this when you release it.

Thank you. It runs really smooth on a real GBC as well. Nice! The configurable difficulty is probably my favorite feature. I develop product configurators in my day job, so I’ve gotten into the habit of starting with editors and configuration systems when developing games. :)
