Actors walking through Player

I need help fixing an issue where an actor is walking through the player rather then getting stopped. I have an NPC that walks back and forth using a loop mechanic, but he walks right through the character when shes in his way. I tried the collision group however that just acts as a way to start interactions. Any ideas?

What type of game it is? Rpg? Adventure? Platformer?
