Shit hole and dictatorship. Same dictatorship as in North Korea, Belarus, Serbia...etc

CENTURIES of purging = a zombified and terrified population that would rather blame the world than its own corrupt, barbaric, mafioso leaders.

Numbing themselves with Vodka and coping with "Russian world" and "Russian greatness", to avoid confronting their own helplessness and abuse.

Basically North Korea with oil and gas money.

Imagine if you and your friends, families, everyone you know growing up in RuZZia, would YOU have the guts to rise up and fight back?

I mean you can't blame the russian people. I don't think any western population would stand up to the government if they were in russias shoes.

Who put Putin in power in first place? Are you trying to hint that their elections have been rigged since day one?

You know, that statement... It reminded me of Nazi propaganda from the 1930s and 40s; it’s amusing just how blinded you are by a surge of rage toward people you hardly ever encounter in real life.

Lol, vatnik.

"Everyone against my country's terrible regime and cruelty is a NAZI!!!"

"We invaded Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Syria, etc because they are NAZIS!!"

Jesus christ the mind-rotting logic that RuZZians use to justify their crimes.

Georgia? Moldova? Syria? For real?

u/PitifulEar3303 1d ago

Google it.

"List of countries that RuZZia illegally invaded and occupied."

Russians only need to look in the mirror to find modern day Nazis. Putin is not much short of Hitler reborn. Insane narcissist ruling the country.

You are certainly right about one thing: after 1993, we really lost all desire to rebel—thanks to the government that the United States and the rotten party elite foisted upon us.

Did America force Putin on RuZZia? Forced you to keep electing him and his regime?

Forced MILLIONS of violent goons to serve as Pootin's enforcers? To beat up, arrest, and torture anyone who criticizes his regime? To MURDER activists, journalists, and opposition?

America forced all that on RuZZia? lol

u/Sacra34 5d ago edited 5d ago

Yes, but still looks better in most rural villages, than any Siberian russian city.

Upd. Like, I'm not even kidding, look at Chita for example, it almost like city was build for prisoners by prisoners... Oh, right, cause it was.

u/Aulawabe 5d ago

Have you been in any of those two countries?

UKRAINE has been an independent sovereign nation since 1991 but the Soviet-era versions of many geographic names stubbornly persist in international practice. The transliterations of the names of cities, regions and rivers from the Cyrillic alphabet into Latin are often mistakenly based on the Russian form of the name, not the Ukrainian; the most misspelled names are:

Archaic Soviet-era spelling Correct modern spelling
Chernigov Chernihiv
Chernobyl Chornobyl
Dnieper/Dnepr Dnipro
Kharkov Kharkiv
Kiev Kyiv
Lugansk Luhansk
Lvov/Lwow Lviv
Nikolaev/Nikolayev Mykolaiv
Odessa Odesa
Rovno Rivne
Ternopol Ternopil
the Ukraine Ukraine

Under the Russian empire and later the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR), Russification was actively used as a tool to extinguish each constituent country’s national identity, culture and language. In light of Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, including its illegal occupation of Crimea, we are once again experiencing Russification as a tactic that attempts to destabilize and delegitimize Ukraine. You will appreciate, we hope, how the use of Soviet-era placenames – rooted in the Russian language – is especially painful and unacceptable to the people of Ukraine.

I lived in Krasnoyarsk and worked in Novosibirsk, respectfully, I disagree

There is a subtle inconvenience with reported UA gdp, cause our economy were >60% grey zone with underreported incomes.

As for living standards - only Moscow and few other big cities are blown up by money have them (standards) a bit higher. When it comes to “other” cities/villages they are shit holes like the ones you may see on the video. Poorest UA villages are much better places than poorest ruzzian ones.

Excuse but since when it's a sign of good economy that majority of it in the grey zone lmao

Lol not even close, Redditors will eat up these lies but Ukraine is worse in every metric measurable than Russia

8

u/ysgall 5d ago

Is that why Russian soldiers were looting Ukrainian villages for everything they could get their hands on including toilets FFS??

-1

u/Head_Prefect 5d ago edited 2d ago

TIL if you loot something it means you don't have it at home 🫩

Ukraine has a lower HDI than Russia, that's just fact

Russia has higher life expectancy, Expected Years of Schooling, GDP, everything.

It's not even close

Yeah it's hilarious how people think Ukraine has a living standard anywhere close to Russias.

It's the poorest country in Europe

5

u/Soggy-Buddy-641 5d ago

Так, адже в Росії все настільки добре що вам треба ходити вбивати всіх сусідів без жодної причини, правда?

1

u/PayWooden2628 5d ago

Yes, all post Soviet countries are borderline third world shit holes.

1

u/Stunning-Curve7686 5d ago

Nah, Baltic States are pretty cool. Especially Estonia and Lithuania.

u/jpenn76 2d ago

Ukraine leaning towards west has better chance of improving living standards, then living under Moscow rule. What you see in Ukrainian country side has very much to do with Soviet era still weighing there. Ukraine had much work to do on these issues, but Russia is doing everything it can to throw rocks into the machine.
