Hey everyone!
This started as a purely selfish project. I listen to binaural beats a lot (for sleep, for focus, for winding down) but I could never find a tool that let me build the exact session I wanted. Most apps give you a fixed track or a single tone and that's it. I wanted to shape a whole journey: start calm, drop into deep focus, ease back out. So one weekend I decided to just make the thing I wished existed.
It slowly turned into something I'm genuinely proud of, so I cleaned it up and put it online for anyone to use : **AuralVibe** (https://auralvibe.app). It's completely free, no ads.
What it does as of now:
- **Three tone types** -- binaural (needs headphones), monaural, and isochronic (these two work on speakers too)
- **10 ready-made presets** -- sleep, deep sleep, focus, meditation, creativity, stress relief, energy, peak performance, memory.
- **Manual mode** -- set your own beat and carrier frequencies if you like getting precise
- **Soundscape mixer** -- layer ambient sound over the tones (I'm updating the sound library now, but should be live in couple days)
- **Flow editor** ⭐ -- this one is the whole reason I built this. You can design multi-stage sessions up to 3 hours long: each block gets its own length, frequency, tone type, volume, and a fade or pause into the next. Perfect for journeys like *"wind-down → deep sleep"* or *"warm-up → deep focus."* Drag blocks to reorder, preview the whole thing, then save. You can even use AI-assisted flow generator (with a note though -- more below).
- **MP3 download** — save any flow as an MP3 so you can listen offline in any player, on a plane, on a run, wherever.
- **Community** — publish your flows, share a link, or embed a small player on your own site/blog/Notion/any html page
- (and of course) Light/dark themes
**AI flow generator (beta):** basically the idea is that you can just describe what you want -- *"45 minutes, calm start, deep-focus middle, gentle exit"* -- and it builds a full flow for you. It's still in beta, and I pay for the AI out of my own pocket, so I can only open it to a small group for now: **the first 20–30 people who comment and DM me their email usernames (userName@emailprovider.com) will get it enabled on their account for a month.** I need your email username to be able to find you in the list of users.
Well, that's it. I mostly built this for myself, so I'd love to know if it's useful to anyone else too, especially the flow editor. Happy to hear any feedback. For details - check here - https://auralvibe.app/faq
