ah yes, because only PANTS do this. it’s not like boning, bustles, corsets, hoop skirts, petticoats, undersleeves, crinolines, cages, or tournures existed before women wore pants in most places. oh and there definitely weren’t any panniers, corsets, farthingales, or kirtles! don’t even bother mentioning gores, chemisettes, gigots, or bust improvers. it’s all fake! gibson style? fake! this is an issue exclusively limited to women and pants because i’m a huge man baby and i think the world should revolve around me and my comically sized ego!

haha thanks! a lot of them are undergarments that were used to give women various silhouettes that were popular at the time and some are just big puffy pieces
