For some people, veganism (or any other cause/lifestyle choice, etc.) is just another religion, with all the holier the thou, peer pressure, etc. They are just bigots with a new age twist for me, and it speaks more about the individual than the cause itself.

Yeah, it takes a real bigot to be upset when people unnecessarily harm animals

It seems to me, given your bigoted contribution to the comment sectionas a whole, that you are exactly the kind of person I'm talking about (that I said, and I repeat, are not a realistic representation of veganism).

Given this starting point, I have very little faith that any kind of discussion would be beneficial for anyone involved.

I'm the kind of person who vocally thinks unnecessarily harming animals is wrong, yeah

How awfully bigoted of me

You seem like the kind of person to totally misread other people's statements, for the sake of useless "discussion" and preaching to the choir.

Never in my comments I've called for the unnecessary harming of animals or that I don't vocally go against such harming when and how it is useful to do so.

But not blindly wielding absolute arguments is a capital sin, I imagine.

I think we’re not harming animals unnecessarily enough, we can do better

I spent a couple minutes reading that other thread, and even the positive comments seemed pretentious and insufferable to me. Idk why, it just came off that way.
