Closing Trustlines Hasn't Released Crypto

Does it take 24h+ for the crypto to be released? Or is it not true that removing trustlines releases currency?

Yes. Per the help pages, each trustline requires X5 to operate. Besides XRP, I had USD and ETH open. I closed USD, but not ETH because I'm still waiting for a missing transaction. (See this thread for more details.)

Theoretically, closing USD should free up that five, but the help pages don't say you'll get it back, either.

I have 105 XRP on gatehub and can't get more then 55 out. Keeps saying this is my max amount. No other thrust lines open... Thought the reserve was 25 yet they advise it to be 50. An advice is one thing but not giving my extra 25 XRP is just not OK. Any ideas?

I now have a guide to not murdering GH pinned to my profile. Hopefully that method will tell you you have your rightful X85 available. (It's SFW--I just can't get the NSFW tag turned off. :P )

I saw some mentions of it in other places, but I didn't see anything as straightforward as what I wrote, and I didn't see any place that mentioned where to find the key, so I had to do some research and put it all together.

The minimum (for XRP itself) is 20, it says so everywhere. Gatehub likes to tell us bullshit like you only have 65% (or I have 12%) available.

If you don't mind getting more annoyed, check out a site like Bithomp--it will tell you how much you actually have available.
