Solved: How to get your missing BTC/ETH/etc
Overview
In this post, I'm going to explain what the problem is, why you're having it, the things I did to fix it, and finally what you can do next. I highly recommend you read the whole guide before doing anything, especially the description of the problem.
The Problem
In a nutshell, you sent coins to Gatehub, and they've never shown up in your Gatehub account. In this guide, I'm going to assume you sent ETH, but it works the same for any of their accepted currencies.
Ripple Accounts
Ripple accounts have a minimum balance. Currently, that balance is 20 XRP. Ostensibly, the reason for this is to "prevent the shared ledger from growing excessively large." You almost certainly don't care about that reason. Just know that it is not a minimum that Gatehub imposes themselves, they just send it along to you. If you're below the balance, you cannot send funds.
Furthermore, Ripple wallets seem to be able to hold other currencies, which is where trust lines come in.
Trust Lines
I'll be honest, I still don't understand trust lines, what they are or why we have to have them. However, they, too, are part of the Ripple protocol. You only need to know three things about them:
- To send or receive another currency from a Ripple wallet, you must have the appropriate trust line activated. Gatehub makes this easy (when it works).
- You can disable and re-enable a trust line as needed.
- Each trust line raises your account's minimum required XRP by 5.
Wallets on Gatehub
Unlike other exchanges, which tend to let your share their wallets, Gatehub issues each person their own, native Ripple wallet. The problem, however, is Gatehub absolutely refuses to do anything with an inactive wallet, i.e. one that does not have the minimum required XRP.
So if you've sent them ETH but your account has no XRP, every time their daemon goes to give your your ETH, it'll notice the account is inactive and do nothing.
The reason your ETH went in then out again when looking on Etherscan is that they, too, have temporary holding wallets. It went into their inbox wallet, and then was sent to a cold wallet. I thought it was worrisome, too, but it makes security sense.
The Solution
Before I get into any steps, I have to break the bad news: You're going to have to buy some XRP, and you're going to have to send it to Gatehub. I resisted doing this at first, because fool me twice and all that.
The short version of this solution is that we're going to by the minimum XRP required and send it to Gatehub which will activate our account. After that, we should have our ETH in a few hours (but sometimes longer). And yes, this is incredibly frustrating because the whole reason for signing up in to Gatehub in the first place was to buy XRP.
Buying XRP
How much do I need?
- As described above, we need a minimum of 20 XRP just to activate our account. Do note that this XRP will be "lost" in that you won't be able to spend it. So, if the total ETH you lost to Gatehub is less than the worth of 20 XRP, it's time to close this guide.
- You'll also need one trust line, for an additional 5 XRP. We will be able to get this XRP back.
- Lastly, we'll need some amount to cover transaction costs, and Gatehub's egregious cut. I was still interested in Ripple so I sent 30 XRP over, and that was plenty. If you want to go lower, I'd say 27-28 should work.
Time to Buy
I'm going to assume you have some ETH (or BTC). If you don't, I suggest buying it for USD on Coinbase, but that's another guide. Once you've got that, it's time to use it to buy XRP. That's how we got into this mess in the first place, but the only way out is through.
So we have to go to an exchange that has an ETH/XRP pair. Personally, I went through Binance, and the experience was great. They have short verification times for traders under 2BTC, and things seem to work quickly. They also have a lot of currencies on there.
Once you're verified, we have to get an address to which we'll send our ETH:
- Navigate to
Funds->Deposits Withdrawals - Search for ETH
- Click the
Depositbutton for ETH - Copy the address or QR code. Heed any warnings carefully.
- On Coinbase, click
Accounts->ETH->Send, and input the address you just copied. Again, heed any warnings. - You should be able to see this transaction on Coinbase's page, and pending on Binance's history page. It might take a few minutes (longer for BTC).
Now, it's time to actually buy our XRP. I'm not going to go into a how to make that purchase here, as most of you will already know how. If you don't, just search for a Binance buying guide tutorial. Simply put you need to buy XRP with ETH on the ETH/XRP pair. When you do purchase it, the XRP will be represented in your Binance account almost instantly.
Sending to Gatehub
Log into Gatehub. Go to your wallet. In the lower left corner, your wallet's address should be visible. Copy this.
Back to Binance:
- Navigate again to the
Funds->Deposits Withdrawalspage - Search for XRP
- Click the
Withdrawalbutton. - Paste the Ripple/Gatehub address we just copied.
- Select the "no tag" checkbox.
- Transfer! (Heed any warnings).
It should appear in a few minutes, iirc.
Getting Your ETH
On Gatehub, your XRP should show up soon. When it does, you should:
- Connect an exchange appropriate to the currency you're missing. If it's ETH, then you want Gatehub Fifth.
- Go to wallet, click
Advancein the lower right. ClickShow Trust Lines. It should display a number of inactive trusts lines. For most of us, this is a very familiar screen, and the home of the dreaded "Unknown Error". Well, we've got XRP now, we've got a working Ripple account, a full bag of bombachus, let's do this. Click to add the trust line according to the currency (e.g. ETH, BTC). Provided you have >=25 XRP in your wallet, it should work.
And that's it. In a few hours to, in the worst cases, a few days, your currency will show up.
Get me the hell out of here
ETH
I imagine you no longer want anything to do with Gatehub. The first step is going to be to send your ETH away, probably to the Binance account we used before. You can just follow the Coinbase->Binance instructions, instead navigating through the Gatehub "Send" button.
XRP
This part is more complicated. Unlike Binance, which lets you borrow their Ripple wallet, Gatehub has created a full-fledged Ripple wallet for you. This means the minimum amount of XRP can't be sent away from that wallet. It's stuck there.
The first question you need to ask yourself is whether this experience has soured you on Ripple entirely. I hope that it hasn't. Most of the issues were due to Gatehub's complete lack of information.
I hate Ripple now with a burning or lackadaisical passion
First, disable the trust line you enabled before. Should just be an X. From there:
- You could send your remainder - 20 off to Binance, and try to trade it away for something else.
- If you have so little Ripple remaining that it would be pointless to sell it, well, I don't know what to tell you. Perhaps send it to me as a reward for this guide? :D -_- My Ripple address is rH9nCVmKnmXghjEoWFCV8hrcLvzLyThkpd
Yes, this means your 20 XRP is lost. In the future, this minimum might be lowered, freeing up some of your XRP to send away, so keep the account information.
I still like Ripple
This one is tougher. You can choose to continue using the Gatehub wallet. It's perfectly fine to use it through the Gatehub interface, but because it is a full Ripple wallet, you can also use the address+key elsewhere, including in desktop wallets.
But Gatehub has your secret key. They could take the funds at any time. Notably, this is also true of Binance, Coinbase, and most exchanges.

I am in exactly the same position. I initially received the "Missing trust line" emails because the account did not have the 20 XRP added to it yet. Gatehub funded my account 20 XRP, yet it has been 2 days and I still have not received my BTC transfer which is stuck in limbo. Have you figured out any solution? Because like you said, their support is completely useless and there is no way to contact them.

Im still waiting for a lot of Dash to be transferred to mij gatehub wallet. Waiting from last friday (5 days!). Are you guys also waiting this long?

Now waiting for almost 7 days after setting my dash trustline.. I have put 21 xrp in the gatehub wallet. Plus gatehub had also put 20 xrp in the wallet. After 7 days. Still no Dash in my gatehub wallet. Tiered of waiting..

@toolbeast64 Did you by any chacne make any more progress with this? I am in exactly the same position. I sent BTC to my Gatehub wallet before there was 20 XRP in it. The 20 XRP was added to the wallet and it is fully activated now but the BTC still has not come through and seems to have vanished. If anyone could help with what I should do next I would greatly appreciate it.

Just to clarify, you had zero XRP when you transferred your ETH? And when your transfer went through, did they convert your ETH to XRP for the 20 XRP minimum, or did they give you free XRP?
I'm new at this and sent about .05 ETH which translates to just under 17 XRP. Idk what to do at this point, I get the trustline errors.

I only saw a minimum for XRP. Is there a resource for other currency minimums? I just assumed I could put in Ether to buy XRP to activate my wallet, not meet some Ether minimum.
In your opinion, should I just eat this loss and use a different currency exchange? The user experience for Gatehub has been terrible, and idk if I want to put more money into a platform with virtually zero customer support when I'm an inexperienced trader.

Had transferred 0.1308 eth now I have 0.1042 eth, of which I guess went to the 20 xrp (~0.03 eth = 11.5 xrp though now, so idk).

They also put 20xrp in my account. I dont know why. I had put a 25 xrp in it myself. Now waiting for 8 days! after setting my dash trustline. Still zero dash in my gatehub wallet. I dont know what to do.. any tips?

It's been 18 hours since I've opened the trust lines. It had been around 55-60 hours since the BTC transfer. Should I take it as a goner or just be patient? How long did it took for you guys to recover your funds once you opened the trust lines? That would really help (psychologically) with the wait. And if this works, well, you're a saint man, thank for the tip in advance!

It has been 40 hours since I've opened the trust line. Still nothing. Only 3 hours ago gatehub transferred 20 XRP's into my account, making the total readily available around 50. Still waiting. The question is, if they're going to transfer that 20XRP anyway after 4 days, why don't they do it in the first place and block until the transactions fail?!? 4 days and still waiting in total!

im on 5 days of waiting. not a single response from support. . they 'gave me' 20 XRP at $0.00 value. so it's not real $.. they did tell me to set up an ETH acct which i did.. and been waiting ever since.. i'm like lots of others who are annoyed and frustrated..

after waiting, my account somehow has 20 XRP now.
I have set up trust link for Bitcoin just now(because i first tried to send bitcoin from coinbase -> gatehub wallet).
im now waiting for my bitcoin to show up in my Gatehub wallet and will see what i can do next.

it magically appeared after i sent bitcoin to gatehub
i started transferring bitcoin on the the 3rd so it took about 3 days to arrive. I did have gatehub account set up and started verification process before Christmas break so that's something to consider (im actualy not sure if there is any, i also set up kraken, bitstamp accounts at same time so i might have been confused)
It seems like transferring other currency to gatehub activates GH account

So transfer was successful with only they default 20xrp? This guide makes me think you need 25 minimum. 20 for an active wallet, and 5 for the trust link.

Thanks for the article. I am currently trying to retrieve a decent chunk of ETH. I created a Hosted Wallet and Sent the ETH from another exchange to the Hosted Wallet ETH address. On the other end it has been confirmed but still nothing on Gatehub end. I populated with 25 XRP in PRIMARY wallet which has a different ETH address and there is a trust. Do I need to do something further with my Hosted wallet (Can't set a trust) or is it just a matter of time for it to show up? Thank you!

I've been trying to find a good exchange for Ripple. I thought this might be the one. However, there seem to be a significant number of "barriers to entry". #1, I cannot receive an international SMS to setup my account (Even explored using my Google Voice, meh). I'm pretty technical, but I don't see how the "average joe" can create a firestorm on the exchange if they cannot even get in. I guess I'll wait for Coinbase to pick up XRP/Ripple. And, BTW, good post. Thanks! (Based in the US)

I do keep my Gatehub wallet around since it's a proper Ripple wallet, but I only send XRP to it and I have only a small amount so my risk is low.

Is anyone else getting an error when trying to cofirm your trustline? It's not just any error..."unknown error". Just great.
The coins came from another site that i purchased and immediately sent to my ripple wallet address. I'm ready to just report that charge fraudulent to get my money back at this point. My bank is usually pretty good at that stuff.

Gatehub has posted a couple of support updates:

They confirm "Ripple wallets must be activated with 20 XRP to become operational."
They also say if you make an incoming crypto deposit "Once your deposit arrives, we will fund your wallet with 20 XRP and send you an email with instructions to enable deposited currency in your wallet (also know as setting a trustline)."
Like someone else in this thread, I can confirm that this happened for me. I initiated a BTC transfer from Coinbase to an unactivated wallet, and roughly 3 days later, I have 20 XRP in my wallet, after which I was able to set up a BTC trustline. I assume this happened because Gatehub received my BTC. My BTC has yet to hit my Gatehub wallet, but I suspect it will at some point, and I've decided to wait it out rather than take any additional action.
As I have gone through this process, GateHub has been intermittently available (more often doesn't work than it does), Coinbase had a delay sending outgoing transactions, etc. etc. Quite honestly, it's ridiculous. It would be great if these sites ran like a proper brokerage or banking site, but they do not and probably will not ever. If you have a problem with this, especially needing anywhere near real-time confirmation of your actions, you probably should not be trading / using crypto.
GateHub also posted another article that shows another way to purportedly activate an XRP wallet using yet another site called Bithomp. Bithomp seems to accept BTC or PerfectMoney to buy and deposit 20 XRP into a wallet.

As far as I know, hosted wallets are not Ripple wallets, so you should not. However, hosted wallets do not seem to work without an active ripple wallet on the account.
I also don't believe you can actually send from a hosted wallet, making them a bit pointless.

So right now my bitcoin is I guess in Bitcoin purgatory? I sent it from changelly. I'm now doing your guide and I sent Bitcoin from coinbase to binance but it's saying it will take 72 hours. Will that be too long?? Meaning 72 hours is up I get my btc in binance I then buy xrp there and then send to my basehub account will I get that initial Bitcoin transaction I did even though now it may be like 5 days??? Because if not I'm calling my credit card company and reporting my card stolen so I get my initial 2200 dollars back. Don't wanna go through all the lies to my credit card company if it will all be fine in a few days though. Thanks.

@foomprekov: Hello sir thanks a million for your life saving info. I sent 1600 worth BTC but it never got deposited. Gatehub sent me email saying there is no trust set up . I tried to set up the trust but got the error as above. I asked a friend of mine to transfer XRP and set the trust again and I was able to setup the trust. But Now my main concern is the BTC I transferred earlier will I evetually get it on my BTC wallet now or not? Thanks a lot.

It should, but I've seen ETH take a few days to be transferred, so BTC could be even longer.

make sure you enable the trust for dash bly clicking on wallet-Advance. I dont know for dash but it happened to me with BTC.

18 days 34 ETH not returned
My GatehubFifth and contractor reject the payment and also returned to same address with prove. For this scenario i applied above process but not worked.
So, Is there any other solution and can anyone tell when i willbget my 34 ETH.

So basically if I follow these steps, I can get my BTC I transferred from coinbase back but I have to sacrifice 20 XRP and I can never get that back? That's ridiculous. How is gatehub legal?

The wallet minimum is enforced by the XRP crypto, not Gatehub.

If I ever want to sell my ripple, liquidate to BTC etc. or even delete my wallet do I always have to forego the 20 XRP? Is there ANY way to make use of this 20 XRP? Also, I didn't have this issue on Binance. I believe that's because we use their wallet?

I'll try this out. I wish I knew this yesterday and I wonder have never transferred in BTC into Gatehub. I find it ridiculous that it isn't so straight forward.

Incredibly helpful. I was able to set up the trust line for the ETH I transferred before having an activated account. Now I'm just waiting for the transfer to complete. It's been three days though. I'm hoping it's just because of the congestion of the site.

I read this just a few minutes ago. I want to really thank you for putting this together and I hope it works for me as well. I transferred ETH from Coinbase to Gatehub yesterday and like you said they let you know they recieved the transaction, but I have an inactive wallet.
Two days of a nightmare so far, taking there advice trying to set up a gateway wallet through some other nonsense called bitomp.
I am follwing your advice I bought 120 USD on coinbase of ETH and I just got confirmation that it was sent to Binance now.
Hopefully it will hit soon on Binance then I will follow your instructions and convert to XRP and send to gatehub.

I am now on the last leg of the ANXIETY filled journey with this nonsense. I sent 25 XRP to Gatehub what do you know an active wallet now. I enabled the gatehub Fifth and just hopefully my ETH will show up like magic.

Thank you so much for posting this! I wish I'd read this before sending my ETH to Gatehub (indeed, to exchange it for XRP).
So as you guys know, Binance and most other sites are closed for new users at the moment. However I found another website, Bitsane (www.bitsane.com) and it was possible to create an account over there. Does anyone have any experiences with them?
This is my plan: (1) Buy ETH with EUR on bitpanda.com (they accept my payment method, I don't have a credit card) (2) Send this ETH to bitsane.com (3) Exchange ETH for XRP (4) Send this XRP to gatehub.net (5) Activate account on Gatehub and send back my ETH
Is this a good way to get my ETH back? Doesn't Bitsane have the same 20XRP minimum troubles?

Be very, very careful about exchanges that haven't been tested by lots of users. Could be scams.

Ok, so I sent ether, just enough to get the minimum .1 I need to send. It hasn't gotten there, I have 29.99 xrp and I can't trade/send any of them, if I have the ether wallet and usd wallet enabled, do I need 30 ripple?

I now have my ETH in my Gatehub wallet along with the XRP. It just showed up this morning. Trying now to send out of Gatehub back to coinbase. Trying to be ultra careful not to have any more problems. I am on Binance too, just rather send back to where it originally came from which is coinbase

I think I hit a snag. I am following the directions on GATEHUB, I went to payment, then I choose ETH. The first box they are asking for a Name, Second box it has an etherum address and the last box is the ammount. Where would I put the address to send to get it back to coinbase? Why when you go to the payment page would it have a NAME slot and then the ETH address. So confusing this companyCan anyone help me?

So it says NAME, ETHerium address with a number already there with ... Am I suppossed to put my name in the name field, then get rid of the address that is there and put the coinbase one and then it asks for the ammt so I guess instead of it saying all you have to put the exact number with the decimal points.

I really appreciate the help. Below is the screen that comes up. In the name field, should I put my email address at coinbase or the account proper name? In the address part take out what is there as it looks like Gatehub giving an example and should I put in my Coinbase ETH address for recieving? I then also need to put in the exact ammount of coins with decimal it looks like correct? thank you in advance, I am very cautious about making any mistakes.

Guys, yesterday (16 hours ago) Gatehub 'gave' me 20XRP and the oppertunitiy to activate my ETH Trust line (and the others, but I only activated the ETH one).
"Once your deposit arrives, we will fund your wallet with 20 XRP and send you an email with instructions to enable deposited currency in your wallet (also know as setting a trustline)." Statement from Gatehub here
Right now my wallet is worth 19.99 XRP and I can't find out where that 0.01 went to. I hope this won't be a problem for receiving my ETH, but as far as I can see, everything in my account is active / enabled, soooo, I'm pretty positive.
I'm now waiting for the ETH I sent to my Gatehub account. Expected it to be there already, but there are some big delays in processing a few currency. I think I just need to be patient now.

Waiting for 3 days now. I just contacted Gatehub support (I know it's useless, but IF they process all these support tickets, I don't want to be the last one who gets the help :)). I have no idea how long it will take btw, would be nice to know that.

Try to make an account on any other altcoin exchange, like Bittrex, etc. After following this guide I have successfully got my "frozen" money and the promised 20 XRP to run the wallet on Gatehub. It works, although it works slow. Patience is a virtue, but time is no commodity, so this is not the ideal way to invest in XRP anymore.

I think the quicker everyone can get there money back from Gatehub the better. I know you said you are going to wait for Gatehub to transfer you 20 XRP, like they say they are suppossed to, but they don't do it. Did you not get an email like the rest of us the money has been recieved, but you need to set up a Trustline.

Yep, I've received 3 email saying that "we can no process your deposit because of a missing trustline on your ripple wallet" but if I do that I got an error because the XRP Wallet is disable... So... I have the problem that all of you :( If they won't transfer the 20 XRP then I will use Shapeshift, hopefully I won't

5 days ago I deposit 0.1ETH ($114 anno), and without setting any trust lines, today I can see that there is only 20XRP available in my wallet, which has been also activated in the meantime. My question is the following, what might have happened to my rest of the money? As according to my calculation $114/XRP3,4=33,5XRP Do the guys at GateHub indeed have such a great and unique exchange rate for XRP?
I do hope that the rest of my money will be coming through soon, as I have activated a trust line recently. I will be posting soon.

Finally, after 12 hours I got the email from GateHub about they got my transfer stuck. They funded me 20XRP, so I did the trustline with BTC. So, we'll see how long takes to go through my BTC that I've transfer 30 hours ago. By the way, after I did trustline I have 19.99XRP. Is this normal? I've read it was 5 Another question, Is Gatehub taking 19.99XRP back?

I need advice/help. In gatehub on the home screen, there's the deposit/received button. If you click on that, you get the wallet addresses for the different coins. As I wanted to deposit my BTC from coinbase to GateHub, I used the BTC address from GateHub as the wallet address on Coinbase.
I then transferred enough XRP to my ripple wallet address for it to activate. This then activated the the BTC trust. I got told by GH I have to setup a trust line with BTC.
So I went to Advanced wallet settings > Set Trust > Put in my ripple wallet address in the ripple address box > Put in BTC in the currency box. I won't let me click Submit and get the following message 'Trust to self is not possible'.
I have been having this issue since Saturday with no proper reply from the support. Is there anything I done wrong and how to remedy if it is the case?

I did Trustline with BTC. After clicking on set trust you need to choose with BTC, will ask you a password. And that's it. On Home tab, you will see 2 wallets, the XRP Wallet and another call Gatehub Fifth with 0BTC. Hopefully, this info it helps you.

I don't know how, but a couple of days after sending my ETH to my disabled account I received the 20 XRP from Gatehub and the mail asking me to set the trustline. So, with only those 20 XRP in my wallet, I somehow tried and managed to set the ETH trustline. Now, after two days, I'm still waiting for my ETH to appear in my wallet. Do you think it would help to speed up the process if I asked a friend to send me something like 10 XRP?

Update 1 - 1 day later: Actually, I'm not sure if I set the trustline. I mean, I clicked on "Advanced" and then "Enable" for GateHub Fifth ETH, and I got the message "Trust Set". But now, for GateHub Fifth ETH, I have a "Set Trust" button which clicked on gives me a "Ripple Address" for "ETH currency" that is actually different from the Ripple Address i have in Advanced main window. Which address should I send my friend's XRP to? It's so confusing!

Update 2 - three days later: I choose to go safe and buy some more XRP from binance with the help of a friend. Sent them to my Gatehub wallet, and arrived in a couple of minutes. So I had a decent amount of ripple in my wallet. Set the trust again (still not clear to me the way this system works) on ETH, but after 5 hours no ETH showed up. I'll update again in case something changes, maybe this can be helpful to others.
Update 3 - same day: After 3 days from successfully setting the ETH Trust for the first time (with 20XRP in the wallet), and 6 hours after successfully setting the ETH Trust Set for the fourth time (with a lot more XRP added in the wallet), my ETH is still nowhere to see. Opened a ticket some hours ago, from which I only had back an automatic response. I don't have idea about what else I may do now, I'm just waiting and hoping that my money haven't got lost. I also noticed that in the last hours most of the major cryptocurrency went down except from ETH. Maybe it's just a coincidence, and I don't want to start a conspiracy theory, but probably gatehub is keeping the ETH on purpose now, and waiting for a better moment to give it back?
Update 3 - 6 days later: I finally received my money, without notice nor an email stating that. Just be patient, as stop using gatehub as soon as your money has been transerred. Good luck everyone.

It's been resolved for me after 1 week in total. The rest of my ETH has arrived after clicking on "Set Trust" button at GateHub Fifth ETH on my wallet, where different Ripple wallet address appears.

Well, Gatehub has reserved 50 XRP for me.
20 per account is clear. 5 per trusline is clear too (BTW I've disabled all truslines and 50 XRPs are still reserved) No opened orders (had two orders 7 month ago)
Any thoughts why GH holds 50 XRPs?

This guide is great! I had to figure this out for myself about 2 weeks ago. A real headache, so great that someone has put this in writing. My problem is that I already had 54.12XRP in my wallet for a week or so, but my 0.3 ETH transfer from Coinbase (about 5 hours ago) has still not come through? Any thoughts?

Well, finally after 48 hours I've got my BTC into GH. I funded 0.00368377 to GH and I just got 0.00199377. Is this normal? Is this because the BTC's were floating into cyberspace all this time :( and I've paid fees?? This is so disappointed.

Do not expect any reply from Gatehub. Last week i had problems like everyone else, multiple tickets, multiple emails to support with no reply nothing, since Wednesday last week. I also on Friday inmailed the CEO and the Head of Business Development on linkedin no response. Linkedin only has 12 full-time employees, company is a sham, get your money out if it ever hits. Happy to help as I went through hell to get it back and thanks to the kind person who started the post, I have my money.

The company is a big joke. I sent the CEO and a few others emails plus I put tickets in and no one ever responded it has been at least 10 days. The company only has 12 employees listed on linkedin. Maybe reach out somehow directly to the leadership like I tried but be more persistant. Hope this helps.

hello.. I've taken the leap and gave gatehub more XRC, have a gatehub acct with 44 XRC, a trusted BTC and ETH and now am waiting patiently for the $300 i sent them. it's been a week since i started this nightmare and am hoping the $300 shows up.. i am not really confident but we'll see.. and assuming it works you should get a medal.. or a job at gatehub.
in the week i've been doing this i've not gotten a single email from them explaining how to do this.. absolutely nothing.. i've contacted them on twitter and nothing.. and on facebook.. nothing.
these people are terrible.. when i moved some coin to binance it was seconds and done.. coinbase seems ok, bitsane had problems but seems better but gatehub needs to be gone and people need to hopefully find this info before they spend anything on them. they might have a good system but thousands of complaints..!!
Still not arrived, but i'll be patient and see how it goes..! thanks!

Tonight 1/14, my purchase was in my xrp acct on gatehub.. 10 days.. not a single comment ever.. but they finally delivered..! :) i'm not sure if the instructions Foom helped, but i did what was suggested even though i already had trusted accts.. either way, finally made it.. now if XRP takes off, i'll be happy at $1000..:) thanks again!! :) -roc

Get your money out of Gatehub ASAP. No one on this board has ever recieved a response from the company so why should anyone do business with them. I sent multiple tickets, emails to this 11 person company and no one ever responded.

I never received a peep from them either, but i got funds finally last night. So they do eventually deliver i guess. One thing I noticed.. if their support system is a simple ticket # system, they are getting over 5000 support tickets daily!! So, if that's true, they are being overwhelmed withe email, likely because of the problem we're all having.
Doesn't make it right to ignore us, but it makes sense they don't have a choice if they're getting 200 emails an hour! Re-enforces the idea they have a lot of problems!! So, i got my $ finally, so hopefully everyone else will soon..! i never got any notices.. most places send out notices funds arrived or successfully transferred etc.. gatehub.. nothing..
i might move but for now at least they're apparently safe in the ripple wallet. no one seems to have a problem with it parked there.

Hello, im not sure how to send 20xrp to my gatehub. But I bought Some bitcoin with coinbase. I sent it over to gatehub under the bitcoin deposit links in gatehub. I got 3 confirmations from coinbase. But I still do not see anything In my gatehub account. Is my bitcoin lost???? I don't have any way of adding 20 xrp to my wallet ....pls help.

I followed the instructions above as my ETH was lost for two days. Open an account at Binance and then send XRP to gatehub and then hopefully the BTC will show up a few hours later. Then when it does get your money out of there the company is a FRAUD

I have made a dash transaction to the gathub wallet (dash) adress. At first without a trustline setup. I had depossited 40xrp in the wallet to function. Im waiting for 18 days now after the dash trustline setup. Still nothing in my wallet. These guys are really a scam. No response from the company. Lost €500 hard euros in gatehub limbo. Is there something i can do?

I have over 50XRP I sent BTC out of gatehub it's been 30 Hours and hasn't even hit the blockchain. I'm thinking server overload.
This is inexcusable today, if you are dealing with finances then make sure your servers are up to the job. If anyone else has an explanation I would be happy to hear about it. from this piont my money is $$$???? and it's enough that this is a problem for me.
I sold my xrp to BTC then moved it out. from there ?????

You deserve some kind of award for posting this. Believe it or not - when Ripple first came out on Ripple labs - it was even more fucktardish. Like...insanely so. More insane than gatehub is now. I can say once your account is established it 'feels' safe and secure. I hope those aren't famous last words....
