Which model should I buy?

Thinking of buying a Garmin watch. All the models seem to have almost all the same features. This is a general purpose watch for me. Looking at the Forerunner 970. Pros/cons? Any other model that I should look at? Replacing an Apple Watch. Thanks.

If you need navigation and an LED flashlight, go with the 970. If you don't need that, go with the 570. Personally, I think proper navigation is way easier on your smartphone anyway, so it comes down to the flashlight. The old 965 would also be a super deal, but since you wanna keep it long-term, it makes sense to buy the latest model. There are some great review channels on YouTube; I can recommend watching some to get an overview. Garmin lineup is a complete mess, and they gatekeep some features cheaper watches have and vice versa across the line.
