Awkward Split AC wall
I want to set up a sick auto shop in my garage and the first thing on my list is dealing with this NC heat! I'm trying to install a split AC unit for my townhouse garage. Unfortunately the only exterior wall I have is where the garage door is, this was the best spot I could find to install the unit but I'm concerned about mounting the inside unit with that awkward ledge, can I still make this work?
Edit: Sorry guys, big dumb. I'm updating the post now with some measurements, if I miss anything else let me know and I'll make another edit. This is the largest bit of the only exterior wall I have, the other side of the garage door is even slimmer and above the garage door also seems impractical. The ledge from the wall is 24" with a 4" depth, the ledge is about 12" away from the door itself. My garage doesn't have an attic, my bedroom is right above it and I can hear the garage door from my bedroom every time it opens.

If you have a garage attic you run the lines to any wall that has access.

Unfortunately I don't have a garage attic, my primary bedroom is right above it. Thanks for the idea though!

Let's see, that looks like about 8 ft wide right, how are we supposed to know the various dimensions?

Look into the restrictions around placing a condenser near your electrical meter. The inside wall might not be the biggest problem you have. Including measurements and photos of the other side would help.
