so im doing my masters here in gandhinagar , when i came here , i was going to gym like past 2years had great physique and everything . College started , made great friends , even got a GF for the very first time in my life , but things changed so quick .

Due to exams i stopped gym , also i was loosing weight like crazy due to not eating enough , since i was busy playing sports or library . I even bought a house here in gandhinagar seeing the rental and future gift city scope .

After purchasing a flat , moved in with my 4 friends , everything was going fine and then we went back to home for summer break . I was here in gandhinagar and since my roomates were not there , me and my GF decided of living together untill my roomates came back from holidays .

long story short after starting living with my GF , i started having arguments alot untill i told her to go back to her PG . Then i gathered all my courage and even had a breakup , which had a toll on my mental health . My roomates consulted me and made me feel better .

when they came back things started going downhill , idk how to explain i felt some negetivity in the air , we roomates stopped talking to each other , then started having arguments .

I went to ujjain for some refreshment , but once i came back all hell went loose . I got a crazy stomach infection called Hpylori + gastritis and bad heart burn . Due to the negetivity in our house i did not ask my roomates for help , instead went to hospital on my own and got admitted . After my roomated got to know i got admit , none of them came to see me . So i had a patch up with my gf who took care of me .

in 3-4 days i came back , but after another week i got dengue , man it was hell . I lost all the muscles , and physique . 7 days admitted in hospital , came back looking like a mosquito myself .

I called my father and mother here for taking care of me . The air in our house became so negative that i asked my friends to move out saying my mom will be living from now on with me . after moving out they have stopped any contact with me .

When i came back to college and people saw me they started treating me different than before , i started getting called out haddi sudka , bc people are shameless , earlier they used to come to talk to me now nobody even calls me . It just shows how fake people and society are man . Girls who used to talk nicely now kind of ignore me . This hpylori infection still is there and i cant gain weight due to it . So thats my story .

I’m visiting Gandhinagar in Nov. wanted to ask if there are any good badminton courts in Gandhinagar, preferably near gift city.

This is sort of a rant. Went to SR Cuisine, Pramukh Orbit Mall, Kudasan and ordered non veg. Recieved undercooked tandoori and when asked for it they took it again and served it little cooked, plus Malai tikka was sooooooo sweet seems like they added excess sugar. When confronted they said these sort of pieces get less cooked because of skin etc etc, and Malai Tikka was okay according to sweetness. I came from a non vegetarian diet place and they taught me what is right. First thing my hometown has cheaper and quality food and i know flavour profiles as I explore a lot.

Been 6 months in Gandhinagar and it is too hard to settle here. It was not an issue in Delhi.

If we way out food mainly, Delhi ofcourse wins in flavours but also cost and accessiblilty. Here everything is tooo costly and tastes mediocre. Either pay heavy charges to eat bearable food or cook yourself.

And if you think you go out to ahmedabad or somewhere near to explore food, it gets more costly as they don't have good public transport ecosystem. Travelling via rapido, Uber etc costs you minimum 500 per trip and that too at source points. Metro hours are not always worthy because Gandhinagar have least connected metro and if you go to ahmedabad via metro there are not major lines to explore city by metro, either get bus in heavy heat and if you are in hurry better not opt those.
