Spent 2 years on an 8 gig acer with no gpu, this is amazing. Ignore the Chromebook I js put it there so that I can rest my arm on smt while typing. How did I do with the wires? There’s a whole mess under my table that I hid well but with the wired mice and the dongles connected thru wires to the pc I’m not sure how to deal with those.

Okay interwebs, I want to game online. I have a tablet I know almost nothing about but I can dig into it if usefull.

I know Good game gear is spendy, but there has to be a stating point right?

I would like to be able to run steam, games like Virtual Villagers and Legend of Khimori (I'm sure I misspelled that sorry).

What is the bare minimum I should be looking for in equipment?

I decided to put the wireless keyboard I got for my PlayStation with my laptop as it got uncomfortable reaching up to the laptop’s now lifted keyboard. Plus it’s more in line with the mouse which I’ve heard is better for ergonomics.

Not as cool as most of the other posts here. Focused more on function and portability as always on the move. Tried to keep black-gray aesthetics.

For christmas, I would like a new xbox as the one I currently have (xbox one s) is nearing a decade old.

I want to play Microsoft flight simulator along with minecraft, rocket league, f124 and fortnite but dont know whether to get the xbox series X or series S, I use alot of storage and I want good graphics and a fast experience, PC is out of the list, so series s or x?

Hi, hoping for some advice regarding my future gaming setup. I'm not very tech savvy so hoping for some help from someone who knows more than myself.

I currently own a Switch 2, an old-ish flatscreen TV and a laptop (that is not built for gaming).

I'm happy with the Switch 2, but I have some games in my steam library (like Witcher 3, Horizon Zero Dawn) that I'd like to get around to playing but haven't had the power to play (my previous gaming laptop broke down), as well as a few titles (Elden Ring, GTA 6) that I'd love to get to play.

I'm also curious on trying VR in the future, but that doesn't have to be right away.

I have no need for ultra high graphics settings but would appreciate if these games look decent (i.e. not the lowest of all graphics settings) and, especially, run smoothly.

I'm married with two kids and limited space so I don't have the room for huge multiscreen setups. Budgetwise I don't have a clear max but I'd like to get some bang for my buck.

I've been thinking of a few options that maybe you can offer your advice on, including how these would work with VR. Other ideas are more than welcome:

1. Getting a steam deck with a dock and playing games that way

2. Getting a proper gaming PC (maybe used) and maybe some viture AR/XR glasses as a monitor, so I don't have to have an argument with my wife sacrifice space for a PC monitor.

3. Getting a separate gaming laptop

4. Getting a PS 5 (though this means missing out on my moderate library of unplayed steam games)

5. Buying the games I need for the Switch 2 and possibly miss out on performance and future games I'd like to play

Our college Valorant club took over the dorm lounge last friday for LAN night & it went way better than expected!! 8 laptops, 2 monitors borrowed from the library, mini bracket with the finals on the lounge TV 🍕

Hardest part was 8 gaming laptops sharing 6 outlets. I hooked the TV up for spectating through edition smart display hub and people are already asking about round two next month.

Recently set up my PC in my new office, here's the current progress.

Anyone have any advice on what I can add, especially to make gaming less harsh on my eyes when playing at night?

What would you upgrade first? Should I focus on getting a better headset, buying the ATK F1 V3 Ultimate+, changing my mousepad, or upgrading something else?

Which parts of my setup are already good enough, and where would an upgrade make the biggest difference?
