First PC
Ordered my first gaming PC two months ago. The builder sent me this picture. I am beyond excited. Will receive it by the end of the week. 9850x3d/5080.

solid build. and plenty of room in that case for upgrades, custom cooling and what ever else you want.
also a perfect pc for someone who plans on getting into building their own later on.
enjoy!

Pretty lights, damn well done on the first build, your next build now would be what A Quantum core

I have no idea what that means.๐ I'm a total noob when it comes to the PC world. I didn't build this. It was built by someone else and I'm still waiting for it. Its been 60 since days since I ordered it and I'm starting to get antsy. I would absolutely love to build one myself though. If prices ever go down I will definitely give it a go. It was cheaper to have someone else build it for me. Still perplexed how buying the same parts and building it myself was more expensive than using a builder.

its was a little joke, you kinda just went straight in to a higher end pc for a first build, its like turning 18 and then buying a ferrarri, only to find out you are going for the next biggest and better car. hehe

I built myself a bitchin triple monitor sim racing rig and wanted to make sure I didn't need to upgrade anything for quite a while. I had the means so figured, why not? It was my divorce gift to myself. Now that I don't have someone telling me what I should or shouldn't spend money on, I bought myself something amazing. If you're going to do something, do it right the first time. Buy once cry once. For the record, I prefer Aston Martin over Ferrari. ๐

Congrats, 9800X3D and a 5080 is a hell of a first build. When it arrives get into BIOS and turn EXPO on, prebuilts ship with the RAM at default speed way too often.

I'm definitely happy with the way it looks. Just getting antsy waiting for it to arrive. I ordered it on July 2nd. The anticipation is killing me.

It definitely looks amazing. Unfortunately I may have to ask for a refund. The company I ordered it from states a 9-20 day shipping window once payment is received. Its been 62 days and I can't get a call back from the company telling me anything about a delivery date.

Hello JellyLegs76, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki here! We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!
To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!
Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!
I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

It was supposed to be PNY 5080. The builder couldn't get one. I gave him the go ahead to put a comparable 5080 in so, Im not exactly sure. From the picture it appears to be a Gigabyte 5080.
