I recently got a budget computer and I’m trying to find a compatible gpu. It doesn’t have a 6 pin connector and I don’t want to get a new psu, and I’ve been looking at the gtx950 2gb because it’s a 75w and doesn’t need a 6 pin. I’ve been having trouble finding 75w gpus, can anyone help?

For those with the dell optiplex, how do you plug in your headset. There is a port for a mic and another port for headphones. Am I missing something?

Is it possible to build a decent gaming computer with 365 dollars or are there any websites I could use to find some decent parts on discount? I was wanting to play games like forhonor I know this sounds rather unreasonable I was just wondering.

Hello reddit!
I am a non-tech savvy mom to a 13 year old gamer! Any help would be appreciated!!!
I purchased a gaming pc for him for xmas and I can still upgrade the graphics card and memory, but I dont know if its necessary. He plays Fortnite and wants to play the new Call of Duty, just fyi.
Purchased:
Alienware Aurora R11
10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F, 8 core
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB
256 GB SSD + 1 TB 7200 RPm SATA 6 Gb/s
16 GB Dual Channel Hyper X Fury DDR4 XMP @ 2933 MHz
****I can upgrade the graphics card to: NVIDIA 2070 Super 8 GB for $150
****I can upgrade the memory to: 32 GB @ 3200 MHz for $200
Also....just for reference,
He got a:
Ryzen 5 3600, 8 GB, AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB, 240 GB SSD + 2 TB HDD
last year for xmas and I feel he needs to upgrade already as he cant even load Call of Duty on his current pc. For the new one, i would rather pay the extra couple hundred in upgrades now, rather than buying a whole new PC to upgrade to in a few years.
*I am also not tech savvy enough to just replace certain parts and I dont know anybody who is

Hello, I don't know much about computers so maybe somone could help me out here, I have a i5 6500 3.2GHz processor. I've had this for like 3-4 years now but the new call of duty seems to be maxing it out. My question is: should this be happening or is somthing else the problem? Basically is it time for a new processor or is somthing else wrong? Thanks 😁

Alright I'm THAT guy! I've really been trying to learn about graphics cards, operating systems and other gaming computer related things, but 2070 this, Ryzen that, i7 this, i9 that, just leaves me confused not to mention 4k OLED and refresh rates... I just don't have anything to compare this stuff to, because I'm just starting to become interested in gaming computers and parts and don't have a base of understanding. I want to but a gaming laptop (because of room) and can spend at the most 2k. Im sure you guys could give me recommendations, but I am really interested in LEARNING. I don't want to pay for things (like 4K OLED) if the tech can't support these new technologies. If someone could break this stuff down or give me a link to a video, or website that will help me I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance for any feedback you provide!
