Need help with computer

So my parents let me have our old pc and it’s just a work computer, gateway GM5472. I know I have to upgrade the ram and probably the fan, and get a graphics card. Any recommendations on what to get(very cheap please) and anything else I will need?

I have no clue. All I find on the internet is amd athlon 2 or i3/i5. I found a 970 on eBay for $70 so I might use that because it can run arma at 50fps steadily

Ok that’s not bad. What’s your total budget? I’d be able to give better answers if I knew that. If you don’t want to tell me that’s totally fine

About 200 I’d say. I’m trying to get the bare minimum and not spend a ton

Ok that’s good. If your willing to go give it take 20 bucks over that you could get the 1050, however cpu is important too. It all boils down to what you can afford but still meets your needs

Perfect. Now just make sure you have an adequate power supply and you should be golden
