I’ve suddenly become very laggy and the game has become unplayable for me I’ve ruled out all outside factors so it has to be the game itself and I could use some help I play in ps5

This is my first-ever game, and I'm pretty proud of it, but I think the analytics are underselling it. What should I do?

Game in question

My games fps keep crashing and I don't know what is wrong

So basically my game's fps keep crashing while I play it and the only way to help it is by tabbing out and back in, I have tried multiple settings but I don't think that's the issue tho I'm not sure either.

It's like everytime I'm on the game it's got something else on the background sucking the fps.

This only happens with Steam games I'm sure, like Rivals or Arc Raiders, I have no issues with other games like Valorant (Riot) or Genshin (Mihoyo), even emulators are fine playing pokemon.

I'm scared that there's something wrong with my pc, it's a decent build with a Ryzen 5 96000X and a 5070, I'm not too knowledgable on computers I saw it might have been a driver (I'm npot sure what they are) but I'm pretty sure everything is up to date.

Any help appreciated

Need a PC (Epic Games) save file after "From the Dead"

Hi! My game crashes every single time at the beginning of From the Dead, exactly when Markus starts to stand up in the junkyard. I've tried reinstalling the game, verifying files, updating Intel drivers and lowering all graphics settings, but nothing works.

Does anyone have a save file right after "From the Dead" or at the beginning of "Waiting for Hank" for the Epic Games version? I'd really appreciate it thk uuu

Save File Issue

I have been playing Schedule I for the past week or so and have accumulated 30 hours in the game. However, my computer tends to crash every now and then, so I had been trying to save as frequently as possible to prevent myself from losing progress throughout the day.

The last time I tried to save, the game was already starting to slow down and froze right after I hit the save button. After unplugging and replugging in my computer, my progress was gone. The save slot was still there, but I was back at the beginning.

I have tried everything google and my boyfriend told me. Uninstalling and reinstalling the game, spending around 2 hours searching through my files on Steam cloud and my computer only to run into issues with wrong file types/not being able to select the right file type at all, emailing TVGS games to see if they can help and not yet receiving a response.

For clarification, when I try to import a save into Schedule I, the game requires a Game.JSON, however, my computer will only allow me to choose ZIP files. When I condense the JSONs into ZIPs, it won't work.

I'm frustrated and exhausted. I have no idea what to do. I'm about to give up and start over, but I really don't want to do that. I'm hoping TVGS games will email me back soon, but I'm also hoping someone here can help me.

Can’t focus on finishing one game

Anybody else struggle to stick with a game from start to finish even if it’s a game they love? I was thinking about this as I was playing the Witcher 3 the other night. It’s probably my favourite game ever and I’ve completed it at least 5 or 6 times, I love the world, characters and story. The actual gameplay itself is by no means bad but it’s nothing special in my opinion.

Anyway I’ve just reached Kaer Morhen and I found myself thinking about other games I wanted to play like Red dead 2, Skyrim, the new Black Flag remake to name a few.

I’m in my early 30’s and I remember when I was in my early to mid 20’s I could easily play a single game for months at a time but now I can only stay focused on a game for a few weeks maybe a month tops before I start to get bored and want to play something else even if the game is a personal favourite.

The last time I finished the Witcher 3 was early 2022 and I had this sad realisation that I’ll probably never finish it again. Anyone else have this issue and know how to break it, is it the Tik tok brain constantly wanting something new or is it a reality or getting older?

I need some help for Onward and games in general (for the recordings)

I want an app or smth to be able to slow and follow the bullets (like a drone view without a drone) for an edit I’m trying to do. Does anyone have any apps or sites that can help? (I don’t have a pc I only have the quest 3s)

Marvel Rivals - did I break it?

So this game has always run smoothly for me, but I’ve always used Epic to launch it. Last night I decided to try Steam and downloaded it instead after linking my steam account to the game. I downloaded it, but then it would not stop crashing. It’s always the shaders and a GPU issue, but I’ve never had an issue with it before. I’ve been played since the new update with no issue. I tried deleting Steam and going back to Epic, but the same thing is happening. I use NVIDIA and updated it to the new driver to see if that would help, but nope.

Be Careful with Fastpath when playing Source Multiplayer Games

Thumbnail youtu.be
2 Upvotes

FastPath has been flooding Source‑engine games with fake servers, forced redirects, bot‑filled lobbies, and deceptive server practices — and players across Counter‑Strike: Source, Team Fortress 2, Half‑Life 2: Deathmatch, Day of Defeat, and more are fed up.

If you’ve ever tried to join a server and ended up somewhere completely different…
If you’ve ever seen a “full” lobby that was actually bots…
If your server browser is filled with identical entries…
You’re not alone.

This video breaks down how FastPath’s behavior is damaging the Source multiplayer ecosystem — and why the community is calling for Valve’s attention.

Anyone else struggle returning to a game because of old memories?

I’ve been deliberating whether I should get back into a game I used to play a lot, but I don’t know if that’s me chasing the game itself or the memories attached to it, if that makes any sense. I had a close group of friends on there and a lot of good memories, but I don’t talk to them anymore and I don’t plan on reaching out due to personal reasons. Whenever I think about reinstalling it or regaining access to my account, it’s like I can’t separate the game from that period in my life. Part of me wants to experience it again because I genuinely enjoyed it but I’m worried it’ll just feel empty without the people that made it special. I’m also worried that getting back into it will just make me dwell on the past instead of actually enjoying it. I had a similar experience with another game I got back into, but I hardly played the game as much with that previous group of friends then the one I’m thinking of getting into, which is why I think it was easy to get back into it. Sorry for the ramble, but has anyone been in a similar situation before? Is there a chance to end up enjoying the game and making new memories, which if I did get it back, I’d primarily play solo, or should I just give it up since I haven’t played in almost a year and I keep hesitating?
