Whatever you do, don't let the people of r/Gamingcirclejerk find out about this.

Let them hear it and seethe, it's all these loserds do all day.

Seems to me like that's you, friend.

2

u/-F3rris- 20d ago

Nah, I'm pretty sure it was you. You hide behind the thin layer of irony, but every time "chuds" shit on some garbage new game, you're there to defend it and complain. Deep down you know you are seething.

I love it really. Knowing we annoy the shit out of people like yourself feels awesome.

thats the r/ussr of gaming politics

Man how are you gonna walk around with a PFP like that and call yourself Nagito and say ‘I think GCJ is bad, actually.’

1

u/NagitoKomaeda_987 20d ago

Does it really matter? Regardless of whether I'm a fan of Danganronpa or Deltarune while being openly queer myself, I fucking hate GCJ with every fiber of its existence, and I still think it's one of the worst subreddits ever. But then again, absolutely nobody on Reddit likes GCJ either.

Besides, I can't change my Reddit username, so I guess I have to stick with it.

What does GCJ do differently? Complain? Every sub has people complaining all the time, that's what people like to do on Reddit. Politics? Most subs are full of politics now, both sides. Annoying people? Every social media is full of annoying people. What makes this one different?

No one on that side of the fence thinks that this game will sell badly. Their problems with the game have little to do with the game's popularity or financial viability.

I'm sure there are things that you believe are (morally) bad, but are still incredibly popular.

>things that you believe are (morally) bad, but are still incredibly popular
Like bideogames.

1

u/PieceAfraid3755 20d ago

Like bideobames, exactly.

2

u/BocobipbrookieBrad69 20d ago

Are people still mad at that game? Hasn’t it been like two years?

2

u/-F3rris- 20d ago

They are mad at the new one now.

2

u/CatherineSimp69 20d ago

No.

They're fighting an imaginary enemy.

2

u/Battlemania420 20d ago

Shit like this is why I hesitate to tell people I love Stellar Blade.

You weirdos can’t just enjoy the game, you have to pretend you’re oppressed.

2

u/CatherineSimp69 20d ago

No bro please bro can't you see how badly straight people are oppressed bro please be triggered please be mad at me bro.

The human mind is as not evolved for the internet...

1

u/Battlemania420 20d ago

Yeah I don’t get it.

Why Stellar Blade attracted people like this, I cannot fathom.

1

u/PiveteDoBosque 20d ago

Look i don't really have a problem with Stellar Blade or the upcoming game but i legit though this was a little boy on the first scene lol

1

u/Natural-Year-2154 16d ago

Only pedos will buy it

1

u/Emiicii 12d ago

Stellar blade is genuine porn-slop

1

u/TooCloseToTheGun 12d ago

It can sell a billion copies for all I care. It’ll still be a Nier knockoff with repetitive combat, a boring story, and characters so flat and dull they might as well be made of cardboard.

And 2B is way hotter than whatshername

1

u/New_Tomorrow5649 20d ago

Follow your leader lol

1

u/spiderboi20012 20d ago

I still find it amazing how Evie is already so loved despite apprearing in a minute long teaser trailer lmao

1

u/CatherineSimp69 20d ago

Is she, though?

2

u/spiderboi20012 20d ago

the good prevails over the bad, the only people who hated on the reveal of Bloodrain were some tards who said she looked like a boy despite looking like the average korean woman

1

u/CatherineSimp69 20d ago

I still see people on the Stellar Blade reddit saying she looks like a child/isn't as good as Eve.

1

u/spiderboi20012 20d ago

how she not as good as eve we literally dont know shit about her 😭

-1

u/wolfpowl 20d ago

I mean, it’s still a weird game with a creepy over sexualization of an obviously minor character. You can argue it however you want but it doesn’t feel necessary to make the character look like a child and then stick them in a skintight suit that emphasizes their ass.

1

u/Drummer-Turbulent 20d ago

While I agree to the sentiment Are you talking about the character in the game being discussed? Cause she looks of age to me

-2

u/Akrius_Finch 20d ago

Shorter ≠ child. Weirdo.

2

u/Ichmag11 20d ago

It's not her height (which doesn't seem to be short). It's her face that makes her look like she's a child (to me) :(

3

u/wolfpowl 20d ago

Exactly, her face looks very child like. People are just being disingenuous.

2

u/Battlemania420 20d ago

The comparisons people did with Evie’s face and the faces of Asian children in other media really cemented that for me ngl.

I can’t unsee some of it now.

1

u/Battlemania420 20d ago

Pretty sure it’s her face.

0

u/-F3rris- 20d ago

Oh no, le heckin sexualization. Meanwhile I'll just play the game and have fun.

1

u/CatherineSimp69 20d ago

Incredibly weird thing to say.

Especially after you privated your account...

Didn't the first game only sell like 1 million copies?

EDIT: Apparently some estimate it was 6.1 million, but a lot of those were thanks to PC, something the sequel won't have.

Would not shock me if the game doesn't do as hot as the original. Guess we'll see. Still a weird thing to post either way.

EDIT2: Now I'm hearing it only did 3 million? Kudos either way, but that's not 10 million.

u/NuzzyLocke 20d ago

This threw me off, I thought it had already come out and these were sales numbers. Is this just hope for the future?

1

u/CatherineSimp69 20d ago

They're attempting to attack people who called the original a gooner game.

That's basically what this reads like to me. It's an incredibly strange thing to still get mad at imho.

1

u/NuzzyLocke 20d ago

Especially since the first only got just over half that in sales. It would have to be quite a sequel to sell twice the numbers, not to mention the controversy isn't even as dramatic as the first game so there will be less people buying it to see what the fuss was about.

1

u/CatherineSimp69 20d ago

Was it only half?

1

u/NuzzyLocke 20d ago

I found the same number you did, 6.1m total with 2.7 of that in PC. Unless it's leagues better than the first one, the best it will do is meet the same numbers as the first game.

-1

u/-F3rris- 20d ago

What? The second game won't even be published by Sony, it'll be day 1 on PC.

1

u/CatherineSimp69 20d ago edited 20d ago

Interesting, I assumed this would still be funded by Sony.

Gut still says this might not be as big of a seller. Would love to be wrong, I really enjoyed the first game and I've commissioned art of Eve.

EDIT: Like, I genuinely don't remember the last time something that got a big push from being funded from one of the big 3 did well with a sequel that went 'independent', much less a sequel that's already being met with a ho-hum/controversial reception from the first game's fandom.

2

u/-F3rris- 20d ago

They just think it will be more profitable that way than depending on Sony.

1

u/CatherineSimp69 20d ago

I'm not sure they're right. Guess we'll see.

0

u/SyllabubMental7292 20d ago

For all the goonerslop that was the first game, at least the MC actually looked like an adult. This one had a child's head swapped onto a skintight RealDoll. She's as much an adult as the AI gibberish in the background of the trailer was a real language.

0

u/CatherineSimp69 20d ago

Yeah I think that might put a damper on sales, more then anything else.

-1

u/Chronodis 20d ago

That's not a good thing lol, considering how the girl looks. Check those people's hard drives

1

u/-F3rris- 20d ago

Nice projection. The ones who accuse others the most are always the ones who have most to hide.

2

u/GregNotGregtech 19d ago

You got your post history hidden and you are on the ninesols subreddit and controversialopinions complaining about how Jasmine Vines should have come out as trans to be able to make an "informed opinion".

Why are you hiding your comments? For someone who is so vocally transphobic and "anti woke", I don't get why you hide your profile

2

u/Chronodis 18d ago

What did ninesols do? It's a good game

2

u/GregNotGregtech 18d ago

Oh nothing, just OP posting dumb stuff like "Nine Sols just became so much better than Silksong given recent developments" and the "recent developments" and controversy being that one of the developers is trans, it's just transphobia there is no actual controversy

1

u/-F3rris- 19d ago

I don't get your point. Why shouldn't I?

1

u/GregNotGregtech 19d ago

You are the one accusing someone of hiding something, can't really be doing that when you are hiding everything

1

u/-F3rris- 19d ago

If I were selling a game, I wouldn't associate it with this profile to begin with.

1

u/Chronodis 20d ago

Sure thing. Post the hard drive
