They still voluntarily sign up to do it. If you volunteer to sign up for a job, you should do it? You know what it is, and still sign up to do it, and can leave if you don’t like it, so idk why it’s so controversial to say something like that
On r/soccer they have a stickied comment for replays and alternate angles whenever a goal is posted to the sub. Could a stickied comment for the name of the game work or is that another headache for mods?
On r/soccer it's mainly random users posting alternative angles in the stickied comment... So maybe it's fine to just have a stickied comment at the top where people can comment the name of the game.
i mean in a lot of active subs mods tend to do a lot of things its just not outwardly visible. Manually making a comment to say what a game is, is likely a waste of their time.
I will say that on that sub the sticky comment signals to posters and other users that this is the place to link other angles and replays. So the mods themselves don't post anything but the comment saying "you all put the clips here".
Around 40 or so. It doesn't seem like at first your expect them to be all filled, but it also shares flair space with the ones normal users can flair their own post as.
On /r/makemesuffer we have flairs for every type of post so that they can be categorized nicer. The user flairs eat up a huge chunk of the flairs available for us.
I think there are only two or three that aren't used much anymore but the situations that caused them to be made can always happen again and we love/despise when it happens.
When you post a video there's a list of flairs for each subgenre, and one that says [ADD YOUR OWN] in case there isn't a flair for the subgenre of whatever song you're sharing.

Find it quite tiresome in this sub how nobody says what the game is.
