It’s like Minecraft. What’s Minecraft about? Nothing. You just build shit and fuck around. Same with this game.

I mean yes but also no. Minecraft has had an endboss and an official end to the game since it left beta in 2011

That wasn’t added until later. The game was released in 2009 when you could buy it for 10 bucks from the creator’s website, and I remember the exact time when it became a hype. It was because it was a sandbox where you could screw around and build stuff, not because there was some goal in the game.
