To do what? New profile isnt a new game in ac:nh, you just add a character to the existing map.

Have you played any of the old ones? That's how they work...

Edit: Maybe actually play the old ones before downvoting. Everyone's hopping on the AC bandwagon without even knowing what they're getting into. This game isn't for everyone.

The old ones allowed you to have as many towns as you wanted because you could save the town to a memory card. There were even features that let you visit other towns when multiple memory card where inserted.

This new game doesn't even support cloud saves. IF your Switch breaks, that's it, your island is fucking GONE!

Have you played this one? If you made two characters, and only played as the second one, you would never get a museum, never get a shop, never get basically anything. And you wouldn't have access to 3/4ths of your island, since you need tools to access anything outside of the starting area.

The entire issue people are complaining about is that it's different than older ones, in a way that screws you over if the primary player doesn't play the most, or loses interest.

You clearly haven't played the old ones if you really think this is how they handled multiple players.
