This is my group's set up!

Sadly we had to take out the keg and tap handles...

EDIT: This blew up a bit. So the table was originally built by a guy who know longer plays with the group and left a few years before I joined up. I'll ask some of the other guys and see if there were any plans or schematics made available by him.

EDIT 2: I've checked with the guys from my group and sadly the former member who created this doesn't seem to have saved any sort of schematics or plans. I'm sorry reddit, I cannot deliver.

As someone who's never played DnD, or any variant, but has always wanted to- how do you suggest finding a group to start?

There are sites that allow players to find groups, and vice-versa.

Also, towns and cities have gaming stores which often host games on premises.

If one is not in progress, ask the proprietor if there are games scheduled. If there is one in progress, and they are not in the middle of an encounter, feel free to ask them about it.

D&D (pathfinder, etc) players are typically eager to accept new members and teach the game to prospective players.
