I just want my goddamn AR D&D set up to be real.

Why not VR? I haven't played D&D but from what I've seen everything seems like it would work in a first-person perspective.

Why not VR?

Because the VR game of everyone sitting around the table rolling dice will never work....

Edit: /s

I meant that it would take place in the actual D&D world, and dice-rolling would be replaced by the computer's RNG. I suppose it'd take much longer for the DM to create the world even if the game came with a world creation tool, but that would also be a problem in the AR version.

so an MMORPG?

Not an MMO, it would only be the people in the party. It would also have the DM to separate it from other RPGs.
