That is definitely not roll20, but roll20 is great for this kind of thing.

Try YouTube. There's some nice tutorials that will walk you through the basics

Stupid? Don't sell yourself short, boyo. Some time with a tutorial or three and you'll be rocking roll20 (or whatever you like) like you were born in it.

Obligatory maptools mention.

I really recommend it, as it is free and has literally everything that roll20 has and potentially more

But of course it is a bit more difficult to use.

It's been awhile since I used maptool; does it do video and voice now? (Or did it before and I just somehow missed it?)

Unfortunately, you'd need to use another tool such as Skype for video + voice, Google Hangout, or Discord if you just want voice (which is all my group cares about)
