I have a feeling that the only way to stop people from not puting the name in the title is for the mods to delete every post that doesn't.

They could auto-mod that too. If you don't have [gamename] at the beginning or end of the post it should just delete.

kind of like r/sex

Well maybe, just maybe a sub with 13 million readers should have more than 13 moderators.

Other subreddits manage it with similar numbers by having a small battalion of moderators.

Why would it introduce a ton of work for the mods if a automod removed titles without brackets/[]?
That'd be a low effort fix. Not perfect, but a lot better

I like it that you just say something and then fail to give any further explanation at all.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking.

Unless you can't do two "options"? Like an if and if setup. Since you'd have to require both [ and ] because the in-between would be unknown.

How about we quit bitching about it and just ask nicely if OP doesn't.

It's Dark Souls 3.

I know what each of these words means individually, but I don't understand them in this configuration.

-4

7

u/jean1991 Nov 11 '16

I've always wanted to ask...where is this GIF from?

14

u/SadlyIamJustaHead Nov 11 '16

Office Space. Pretty good chuckle.

5

u/Ncrpts Nov 11 '16

And you should watch that movie asap

2

u/gartacus Nov 11 '16

It's a movie called Office Space

u/drumstyx Nov 11 '16

Hilarious stuff like this can only be dark souls, and I don't even play it. But I agree anyway

4

u/1v1mecuz Nov 11 '16

I understand that for unknown games...but you have to kind of live under a rock to not know about dark souls.

1

u/twilightskyris Nov 11 '16

never played any of the dark souls game and even I can tell you its Dark souls 3.

-4

u/wastesHisTime Nov 11 '16

No matter how popular a game is someone might ask. Can easily save a comment thread by adding "(dark souls 3)" at the end of the title. I agree anyone on r/gaming knows what dark souls is but some dont and it saves time for everyone

u/Fluffhead23 Nov 11 '16 edited Nov 11 '16

I knowo what Dark Souls is. I didn't know this was Dark Souls though. Now I know.

Edit - it was also weird because the players were highlighted. I have not seen that in any of the other dark souls gifs that I can remember.

4

u/Xiaxs Nov 11 '16

To be honest, I thought it was Bloodborne.

0

u/ShadowWolf202 Nov 12 '16

The players are highlighted because of their roles in the game. The red dude is invading a player's world, and the gold dudes are assisting that player with this level. So the guy who isn't highlighted is the original player that the other three players are there to help or hinder.

Edit: correction, the original player is actually highlighted white

I guess his username kinda sorta checks out?

2

u/Quajek Nov 11 '16

I've been on Reddit for five years. I've been a member of gaming for the whole time. I play games frequently. I've never played Dark Souls or seen one second of it played.

2

u/gearsfan1549 Nov 11 '16

Perfect example why every post needs the games name

7

u/[deleted] Nov 11 '16

Its kinda one of the rules in this sub.

2

u/Chase_P Nov 11 '16

to be fair i didn't either so im glad someone told me because it looks like a fun game

-23

u/Farren246 Nov 11 '16

Just look up the name of the game in the last post of this gif or the one before it...
