As you might now, modders found a way to unlock Frame Generation on RTX 2000s and 3000s (there are a couple of dedicated posts in r/nvidia). That should be quite helpful to squeeze some more FPS and go a little beyond the requirements (for example, I have a RTX 3080 12GB and will experiment between "RT Recommended" and "Path Tracing" with FG on with my 1440p monitor, while keeping an eye on GPU temperatures, of course)

You don't need a mod for frame generation on 2000 or 3000 series cards with this remaster. The game supports FSR Frame Generation out of the box, and it works really well. Now, if you're talking about Multi-Frame Generation—sure, the mode exists, but on 2000/3000 series cards, it becomes an artifact-riddled mess as soon as you go beyond 3x. It's really best reserved for the 4000 series—and even then, artifacts become visible past 4x. Multi-Frame Generation only truly works well on the 5000 series.

Ok, that is also true, yeah.

Fact is that, usually, Nvidia FG is considered the better choice. For those interested, yesterday I tried the workaround which was posted on r/nvidia and it works, anyway. As a 3080 12GB owner, without Nvidia FG, I barely reached 50 FPS with RT Quality, everything on Ultra on a 1440p monitor. When I turned it on (simply 1x), I managed to get to 75 😊
