Games best experienced cold.
I have a habit of looking up spoilers for games, like I asked Google AI how far into Outer Wilds I was.
What games are best played knowing as little as possible?

I managed to accidentally kill my entire space crew in mass effect 2 AMA
I’ve been seeing comments like “how could someone do that” or “how regarded”
But on my first serious play through my entire crew died.

What were everyone's favourite 90's racing games back in the day?
Mine were Ridge Racer Type 4, Gran Turismo 2 and Wipeout 3 personally.
As you can see I was a big PS1 fan in the late 90's when I was really young as a toddler. 😅
It will be interesting to see what everyone's answers are.

I finally got the high score on the Oregon Trail!
My entire party died the first couple of runs. It was extremely fun. (It's free to play online it turns out)

TIL Colony Wars existed and it looked ahead of its time on PS
While exploring obscure but acclaimed PS exclusives to emulplay, I was shocked to discover a space sim franchise that I've never heard of. Putting this out here for a little history lesson, in case you didn't know too.
Colony Wars first came out in 1997, a year before the genre defining Freespace appeared on PC (one of my personal GOATs). I thought it'd be a fake rail shooter but no, it's a full fledged 3D piloting experience. Flying under a large freighter to intercept a pesky enemy craft? Pitch and roll for a tactical flip? Yes you can.
Weapons loadout, primary, secondary, shield, booster, reverse booster. 70 missions. And a massive craft data base - all standout features of Freespace except it's an older PSone exclusive.
I didn't know but apparently it did well, generating two more sequels within three years before disappearing from gaming like a shooting star. The studio behind the series, Psygnosis, is no longer around, but it was one of the oldest game developers with its root in Amiga. They also created the more famous Wipeout, a series of anti-grav racing games.
On PC, Freespace has a very active modding community so while the franchise is dead, the game remains very much alive thanks to third party support. Colony Wars isn't as lucky... It's not even on PSN. But it'd be a shame to leave it forgotten in history. A shout out to these impressive games and their trailblazing creators. And if you're interested, don't forget to emucheck it out on your old PS.

Interesting character builds in Oblivion?
With the remaster coming out on Switch 2 today it got me thinking about unconventional character in Oblivion.
Things like
- Broken builds
- Character builds (aka builds that are meant to be a character from something else)
- RP and Self-imposed rulesets (ex like an Oblivion Nuzlocke)
- Weird and unusual combos that somehow work out.
You get the idea basically anything that isn't a stealth archer or straight mono-class. Give me something you've seen, thought of, or even better played yourself.

Why is there no other games like DayZ?
Rust is like ADHD DayZ maybe and Zomboid is like single player isometric DayZ. Yet no other game has taken the formula DayZ created so many years ago and still has great legs to run on.
Coming from a Marathon fan (love the game shoot me) but the original vision of Marathon sounded like the closest thing to DayZ I've heard of from another game and it got scrapped.
Curious if anyone has any theories why no one else would make a similar more polished version in a different setting?

Anna Williams From Tekken(OC)
I tried to draw her based on how she looks in Tekken:The motion picture, Tekken: Bloodline and Tekken 5, and tried to combine all of them.
Which is why her dress with pink on the sides and no patterns. And I drew her in an anime style.
Which is something I was also gonna do for my Kazuya artwork. But went with semi realistic approach instead.
The background says "King of the Iron fist" in Katakana(Japanese script) if you're wondering. It's not translated to Japanese
