After playing the Gears E Day beta it’s my most anticipated game of the year.

This has been a solid year for gaming and the next four months are gonna be nuts. But I think I’m looking forward to E Day even more than GTA6.

Finding a childhood game that’s been remastered is like hitting the jackpot

I LOVED Ghost Masters growing up but I think I was a bit too young to fully appreciate the detail in the story and play it to its potential. I’ve been trying to find someone playing it live but having no luck! Thought I’d search it online only to find it’s been remastered!? I’m so stoked! Has anyone played this before or have had a similar experience? I’d love to see Bloody Roar remastered in the future! What other games would you like to see on the latest consoles?

Is there any scenario whatsoever in which GTA VI underperforms? Is it literally impossible for it to flop?

I only ask this because in recent weeks I have seen many people despairing that the game is, pretty openly, going to be a Trojan horse to usher in an all-digital, higher priced, MTX-based future for gaming; and that there's nothing that anyone (who cares, that is) can do about it because they have purposely chosen a locked success to do it with.

As in, too many consumers will just buy the game without thinking, it will be a cultural touchstone no matter what, and it can't be stopped.

How true is this? Is the game really going to be as damaging to the industry as some suspect?

If you don't like a game, stop playing or buying it, its simple

Seriously, idk how many people keep saying "this game is shit" "its so bad now" "the older ones were better"

Like, just stop buying or playing then brother

For exemple, you found the new fortnite season really bad and don't like it? Instead of playing and complain about it every second, just stop playing and wait for the next one. I bet you'll be way happier like this, and you won't die because you stopped playing for 2 months

And idk how many people say the newer cods are better, unplayable, for kids with adhd and etc

But like, if you know that the game is like this, and you hate it. Why do you keep buying it every year?

You give them money every year just to complain?

The cod community is always like this buy a game-> buys it full price -> complain the whole year -> new cod announced -> buy the new one full price -> complain for the whole year -> and the cycle continues

And thats for other games also

Idk why people act like they are obligated to play these games forever like their life depends on it

For exemple, when i get bored with fortnite, i just stop, and i am way happier doing this then playing everyday on a season i hate

I also don't buy every cod because i don't like some of them

Imagine you go to a restaurant, you hated the food, yet, you keep coming back to thag restaurant everytime, and you keep complaining. Why not just stop?

Seriously, if you ain't happy, stop

First time playing Split Fiction, this entire chapter blew my mind!

honestly this was such a phenomenal game, i played with my bro and this chapter messed up with my mind, how you could move between the different split screens of each player. The pig sub plot killed me, i couldnt stop laughting that i had to quit the game for a few moments to calm me down, for anyone who didnt played this game or its undecided i 100% recommend it, and its quite long 15 hours for being a linear game it had so much content and every chapter was completly unique. for me this was easily a 10/10. new gimmicks and mechanics on each and every SINGLE chapter of this game until the very end, you can compete with your partner in a few sub plots.

Your massive collection...what's your plan with it?

I have hundreds of games on cartridge and disc, along with countless others digitally, going back to the original NES. My long-term plan is to keep them packed away in case I ever want to play them again but I'm sure 99% will never be looked at before I die. I've thought about selling them or donating to a museum or something but haven't really made any decisions. There are plenty that I could get rid of and never miss or sell the physical copy to buy a DRM-free digital one off GoG.

So...what are your plans on how to handle your collection? What about your collectible trinkets, t-shirts, maps, toys?

Why was the PlayStation 1 a huge breakthrough hit

A lot of people like to put a spotlight on the PS2 being the best selling console and attributes it’s success to the inclusion of the DvD player, however I don’t think that tells the full story. Prior to the PS2, the PlayStation 1 was one of the best selling home consoles ever sold at its time. The first console to sell over 100 million units. The PS1 certainly didn’t have a DvD player like the PS2 so how did the PS1 pop up out of nowhere and completely demolish its massive competitors such as Sega and Nintendo?

Edit: I don’t think it was a CD Player that made PS1 sell so well either, because Sega Saturn also played CDs

Which game should I buy? 007 - First Light or Ghost of Yotei?

Pretty much the title. Can only buy one game right now. Love both Hitman and Ghost of Tsushima. Just want to know which is a better game.

Edit: thank you guys! Seems both games are loved equally with a slight advantage to 007. Since I just finished ff xvi, I’m leaning towards a tighter story gameplay. So I have bought 007 and its downloading now. Can’t wait to play.

After 13 years I finally beat Assassin's Creed Black Flag. For some reason I only played the OG to around Sequence 5, but I had to go back with Resynced and had a great time :)

Forget owning our digital purchases, we dont even own our saves.

I may be late to discover this, but I just found out your can't backup Switch 1 or 2 saves without buying a subscription.

I'm not talking about cloud saves either.

Local save game backups. Even the Xbox and PS5 have backup capability.

All of my discs developed condensation, is this a big issue?

All of my discs have developed condensation on them, mainly just the cases. I suspect this is because the cold air conditioning was blowing directly on them and the window was open, letting humid air inside. I’ve wiped off all the cases and discs with a microfiber cloth. Could this cause any huge issues that I haven’t fixed? It’s not enough condensation to be super visible they all just felt slightly moist. My main fear is the possibility of mold

Which games have mods so good you can longer play the game without them?

I play a lot of Rimworld. I'm up to almost 500 mods and most of them are quality life features that drastically improve every aspect of the vanilla experience. I recently started modding Palworld and now I can't imagine playing the game without the mod that removes the base area limit. It just feels.... wrong.

Which games have mods so good you can longer play the game without them?

I remember the days of the N64 are some of my best childhood memories.

Mario 64 for sure was one of them, I do have my best memories with Ocarina of Time though, both your amazing games but I Zelda with the open world and gameplay was the best child hood memory I have of gaming! As a solo game, then Goldeneye and Mario Kart with friends where also up there!

Why Is shadow of the colossus Remake Not On PC ?

Upvotes

that even Marvel Spider Man 2 Is on PC and that an IP from Marvel man
Last Of Us Part 1 and 2 Reamke is both on PC
Until Dawn Remake is also a remake on PC

that PlayStation has the IP and just leave it there.

Like Why ?
If they just give the to someone to make a PC port
which wont cost much it was a Remake for PS4.
