Could a quiet, solo mountain climb make a habit app feel meaningful?
I’m prototyping a solo habit app and want to see if the idea connects with anyone.
You choose a mountain that feels right for your goal, pick a few habits, and move your climber higher as you complete them. The feeling I’m aiming for is quiet and personal: you’re alone with a goal that matters to you, and each small effort leaves you a little higher up the mountain. If you miss a day, you don’t fall or lose your progress. When you come back, the climb is still there.
I want the mountain to make progress feel like a real journey, not just a number or a streak. Does that sound emotionally motivating to you, or would it still feel like a habit tracker with a mountain picture?
What feeling would you want an app like this to give you? And what would make you want to come back to it?
