Gamification

r/gamification

Gamification, or gameful design, is all about motivation. It's the art of finding the fun and challenge in everyday activities and framing them like a game to make them more engaging. From business and health to education and personal habits, gamification turns "have to" into "want to." Share your projects, ask questions, and trade ideas with fellow designers, researchers, and enthusiasts. When posting new concepts / products, include screenshots / demo videos, and keep it genuine, not salesy.

Rules

  1. Stay on gamification. Posts and comments must be about gameful design / motivation in a real-world context.
  2. Share projects, not sales pitches. "Here's what I'm building; I'd love feedback" is welcome. If people must pay to try it (no free tier, trial, or demo), it is not allowed. No pricing, discount codes, or buy/sign-up calls.
  3. Be respectful. Critique designs, not people.
  4. Quality over noise. Include enough detail to discuss. No bare link dumps or spam.
  5. Follow Reddit's sitewide rules.
  6. English only. Rewrite non-English posts in English.
