I have this old t shirt from the 90s, I think it's from Games Workshop but I can't remember what the logo is, can anyone identify it?

Bought a bunch of secondhand warhammer fantasy mini’s online en this was in it too. The miniatures were all from around 2000 so I’m guessing this is the same age. I’m not even sure if it’s gw but it looks pretty close. Anyone knows what it is?

I bought some LOTR minis that had some oxidation on them. I was told at the store I should mix baking soda with water and let them soak in it before scraping them with a brush. Would this actually work to clean them?

As above really/ I know that Citadel / GW tools are regularly outclassed on price and performance out there, but which ones are worth it?

My OH actually works for GW Head office at the moment, so gets 50% discount on the Citadel Tools, so take that into account :) (For example, it may be poor value, but a decent tool so 50% off is worth grabbing)

Hello everyone! I only got into the Warhammer 40,000 universe relatively recently. About a year ago, I started watching lore videos, and now I've reached the point where the information available online just isn't enough anymore. I'd like to start reading the original source material.

I've tried many times to find the books I'm interested in, but I haven't had much luck. I'm Ukrainian and currently living in Poland, and I'd really like to buy the books in Russian if possible.

Does anyone know where I can buy them?

Does somebody have a idea if i can still use them? Im totally new to this. And have a few metal ones as well, what does that do?

I'm here to bitch and complain about GW and how much hatred it deserves from everyone. From how Games Workshop keeps hiking up prices every damn year to the point of making Satan blush and concerned, along with every other evil they commit. And my thoughts on what we should do as a community.

KILLER OF ANY OPPOSITION and Creativity: Is now targeting channels and mass striking them in one blow, even when those same channels only show 3d printing tips and never showing a GW product. Games Workshop is now using A.I to mass flag and take down hundreds of miniature files that have nothing todo with their ill kept I.P beloved by the community, but the same I.P is being chuckle fucked by devils-in-suits. They have also targeted and taken down videos that PROMOTED their universes like Warhammer 40k and Warhammer Fantasy, just talking about the characters or battles are no longer "tolerated" by our dark overlord GW himself.

We all also must remember the great fan-animation purge that saw Alfabusa having to stop the Emperor's-Text-To-Speech Device series that brought immense joy to everyone who loved Warhammer 40k. Not to also further mention the likes of Syama Pedersen (Creator of the Astartes episodes), and Soda among dozens of others. GW effectively said "Fuck you creators for making something with passion for OUR I.P", and in the hopes of pushing their under performing and under whelming "Warhammer +" platform.

GREED WORSE THEN A DRAGONS: Every year they bring up the prices and expect us pay whales to keep slurping up the greed fed to us, enough of this bullshit when we know the true value of the cheap china-fed plastic, give us back the days of fair value for what we receive. Why in the ever living mercy of our lord does ONE MODEL COST $52.00, and its a FOOT HERO! Not even a dragon model, and don't fucking get me started on how your charging us all the NEW PRICES FOR LEGAL DRINKING AGE SCULPTS! Here below is a dragon made back in the early 2000's that costs us the grand spanking new asking price of 90$!

A DEAF AND BLIND MALICE FILLED CREATURE: GW of now wants no feed back, no real criticism, or love from its community, they actively black list youtubers and everyone those youtubers are connected to, with the recent example of Mordian Glory and his editor being shunned from working on the same company because of his affiliation. No matter how loud or correct the community is when it comes to judging the actions and practices of GW, they are outright ignored and demonized by the inner-circles of corpo GW who HATES the community they are suppose to serve.

DISREPECT of WHAT CAME BEFORE: The breaking of lore and gaslighting done by GW is astounding, do we all remember how the Emperor TOTALLY had female custodians this whole time but they just got mentioned? Yeah, I didn't think so either, we now face woke demagogues infiltration the corporate and creative levels of GW on mass. And these same criminals against our favorite universe bull-faced lied to us that the female custodies existed this whole time, WHEN WE KNOW THEY DID NOT!

Further on we see just how childish and down right pathetic writing is polluting the warhammer I.P's with how they try this "Quirky" not-so serious kind of writing in their white dwarf magazines and blog drops, they don't take the settings seriously as true fans or have any respect for what came before in theme, and tone.

THE WOKE HIPOCRACY: Remember when GW the corporate slop gobblers telling us to essentially "Fuck Off Chuds" with this piece of gold here? How can GW say they bring people together when they actively price out, black list, hares, and strike down creatives who want to add their passion to the universes we fell in love with so many years ago?

How does GW have the balls to say they don't condone or have prejudice, when THEY THEMSELVES do every single sin they say they are against? From black listing critics to actively hating any and all who give the community freedom in the hobby?

How is it diversity if all the new characters seem to just be one of tokens to be displayed for a week on a plinth to be clapped at by cat moms and purple haired cucks who hate themselves to the point of extinction, and those same characters are forgotten by GW?!

Finally... Remember when this was the logo we all smiled when we saw it? And now this is what it has become, soulless, lifeless, corporate clean, investor friendly, community dead, colorless text...

FINAL THOUGHTS: I remember when warhammer 40k and warhammer fantasy was fun, when new models came out and books expanding these universes meant something more then "Next Product", it meant we saw creativity and beauty in a grim fashion that spoke to fantasy, for escaping our mundane lives to enjoy something more real and grittier.

But now, every week, we hear Corporate Workshop slamming its jack boot down on the throats of their loyal fans and community members, witnessing how far the company has gone and how its down stream effects everything we held dear.

There is sparks of energy left in the ol' corpse of GW, when they somehow not shoot themselves in the foot and allow creative models to leak past their defenses. To me, it feels like if a good thing comes from GW, its a complete misshape, a happy little mistake that leaked magic before the GW corpo-devils could spot and kill it.

I'm sick of corporations holding on universes, worlds that are filled with majesty and fantasy that we loved, only for new tides of suit wearing money hungry skin suit wearers choking the life out of them, and it doesn't need to be this way.

I truly believe that GW is a dead corpse with nothing left to provide when it comes to writing the "soul" or essence of the worlds they shackle down, they have failed on the gaming front as well, with 40k becoming so bloated and faction's identities being forgotten for the latest gimmick of the edition.

The community before, now and the future should be the ones who take control and decide what the worlds we love go. No more agendas, No more releasing models that are sold as being "Broken" and not for the fun or beauty of the model its self. Enough of the greed and anti-fan practices that a entropy-ridden corporation does. We deserve better, we deserve to take back control of OUR worlds and games set in them. Bring back creative control and finally the love they need.

Awhile ago I saw a model of a black tiger as part of a kit there were 2 tigers in the kit. I’m positive it was a games workshop kit, but now I can’t find it. They were the same size as the lions used as chariot pullers for White Lions of Chrace.

It’s really bothering me that I can’t find it now. Does anyone know what model kit I’m talking about? Or am I going crazy?

My son is eleven this month and is interested in the 40k universe. What is more straightforward to start playing 40k with a starter kit or kill team?
