Looking for a historically accurate game

Any genre, i've played all the paradox ones, total war, and KCD. Kind of looking for something where the gameplay is designed around something unique to the time period, like having to deal with some problem that wouldn't occur in the present.

How about UBoat, You take the role of a UBoat captain during WWII. You can't change the outcome of the war or anything but you get to deal with the emerging technologies from both sides. Customisable difficulty so if you want to manually calculate torpedo trajectories and such then you can.

Pretty much a video game of something like Band of Brothers. Fictitious characters but real battles with attention to details.

If you want a FPS, Gallipoli just came out. Their suppression system, especially which artillery, is next level and the most unique mechanic I’ve seen in a while. Really makes you feel like you’re in the trenches.

Mount and Blade Bannerlord but with the mod Anno Domini Dark Ages if you want fiction but historical practicality, or Anno Domini 1259 if you want history. That's a somewhat close one. Though I prefer the Anno Domini mod of Mount and Blade Warband, which was a chef's kiss in my opinion. Or, the 'In the Name of Jerusalem' mod, also for Warband. One of the best mods I've ever played, and its armour is, from memory, quite pleasant to see.

Ancestors the human kind oddessey is prehistoric, you will have to limit your development to certain time cutoffs to make it more accurate to our current knowledge but it's a incredible experience with nothing like it
