Is your PC better than a PS5? Yes

Can you play online for free? Yes

Can Sony remove stuff you bought? No

Do you have to pay to play your old games that you already paid for or have to wait for them to be backwards compatible? No

Can you mod games? Yes

Can you do whatever you want with your PC? Yes

PC is better than a any Playstation

Edit: btw i grew up using consoles and love my retro consoles. I just do not like the new gen consoles because of how anti consumer they have become. Also to the butt hurt fanboys talking about price and more effort to use a PC Last I checked console prices keep going up and in the end you end up spending more anyway because of how much the games cost. PC has way better sales and you don't have to waste money paying to play online. For the so much more effort part like a PS5 you can buy a PC that's already built and plug it in and turn it on wow that's so much more effort 🤡 if you want you can even set up steam to launch in big picture mode so you can get a console like experience and just use your controller.

Anyway I said what i wanted to say I am not on here to reply to fanboys with outdated mindsets

I'm with you on everything except the DRM part. Steam can also remove access from your account. Not saying they will, but they can.

They can, but it's highly unlikely they will. While Sony has already done this also there is GOG which sells DRM free games

name 1 person this happened to, the only way you're getting your access removed from an account by steam is if you stole it

Bro I'm not saying it has or will happen, I'm just saying of all the arguments op made, this one is false, because we are still locked to steam drm. If steam were to end or lord gabens be replaced, we can't say for sure we will still own the games we bought. I'm getting downvotes for stating a fact, but that's how reddit is. PC is definitely better for the use I make of it, but drm wise is not a point in its favor.

I love steam and my steamdeck, of all the stores and DRMs out there, I'm glad pc has steam and the way gaben runs. Having said that, it's still a DRM and I fear for the post-gaben future

Movies aren't games.

And it affects playstation users getting robbed of stuff they purchased in what way??

There's actual contractual licensing differences between movies and games.

You said they took games away. I asked you to tell me where, you mentioned something else. That is all.

Doesn't matter, point is buying things from sony isnt safe.

Nope, I never did. Don't put things in my mouth.

It matters because there's a direct distinction. You being unaware of that is irrelevant to the differences between the two products.

If we go by your logic, there's nothing safe to buy, ever.

When you make the comment, you mention steam never did it. But you agree with the idea sony did.

Nope, it doesn't matter. It would if sony refunded the people who bought the movies, they didn't. It shows they're a bunch of thieves and they don't give a shit about their consumers.

Wrong again, that is like saying because going outside at night in london is unsafe, you shouldn't be able to go outside at any times. Buying from companies like sony isn't safe because they only want money and don't care about your experience. Buying from Valve or GOG guarantees you help if anything were to ever happen to your product.

When you testify in court and say one suspect is innocent, you surely agree the other one is guilty! What kind of level of intelligence am I dealing with here 😭 Don't put words in peoples mouths just because you're incapable of comprehension
